Ballarat California was at one time a wealthy mining town on the edge of Death Valley. When the mine closed the town turned towards desolation. Rumored to be haunted the Panamint mountains that overshadow Ballarat are said to be the sites of hollow earth entrances all the way to pale ape like creatures. Could this be the lost civilization that looks down onto this majestic ghost town? Rumor has it that even Charles Manson may have partied with his family at this site. So much history resides around this ghost town!


Aguereberry was once home to the booming Cashier Mill and Eureka mine. It was one of the only areas in Death Valley where gold was discovered. Pete Aguereberry mined this claim for almost 50 years due to his love for the beauty which surrounds this ghost town. Does he still greet travelers today who tour his community and old homestead?






Sedona Arizona was once home to ancient cliff dwellers only to eventually become one of the largest well known new age center and vortex sites across the world. Tuzigoot National Monument may be one of the best preserved series of pueblo non cliff dwelling ruins in the Verde Valley maybe even the Southwestern United States.  At one time the Singua people lived off the land, weaved baskets, grew cotton and traded. Today there spirits may just linger around these ancient stone ruins where scenic views of  marshes, shadowy hills and beautiful canyons surround make this location one of an epic kind.




Jerome Arizona was once an ancient mining ground for the native Americans and eventually the conquistadors. When the Spanish left early pioneers discovered its rich ore. Known to be one of the most sinfully haunted towns in the country the town boast miles of underground tunnels and dozens of historic structures all rumored to be haunted by its past. At one time this mining town was known for its gunfights, gambling and bordellos. For many years death and tragedy struck the town however today it is a new age center for many paranormal enthusiast and artist alike.



Palatki & Honaki were once ancient cities that thrived near Sedona. Today all that remains are remnants of what was created by descendants of the Hopi people and leaving many mysteries behind.









Empire Cemetery is a landmark in Carson City's history it is a milestone forour first investigation since our relocation to the Reno - Lake Tahoe - Carson Valley Region. Many of the graves remain forgotten and suffer from the fologiage which has consumed this place of the dearly departed. Today its ghost including a little girl of an unmarked grave haunt this wonder! The Ormsby County Poor Farm was a place in Carson City for the less fortunate. Almost a century of farming and ranching eventually was ended promptly when the county felt this land parcel was irrelevant. Eventually this farm was turned into todays Fuji park where a small cemetery and many other unmarked graves grace Clear Creek where once this farm stood.  Rumor has it that a ghostly bride haunts its woods which hold some of Carson Cities oldest treets. Our society begs to differ as we unmask a ghostly child who secretly watches from the thick.



The Devil's Gate in Silver City was once the site of a toll house and stone battlement with a cannon that protected its townsfolk from the Paiute's during the war in 1860. At one time thousands of pioneers and travelers made there way through its narrow gorge seeking riches as they traversed to Gold Hill and Virginia City. Little did they know that the gorge was also a place where evil crimes were committed such as pillaging and robbery. Today not much remains but the two volcanic hills which were blasted to form a toll road over a century ago. What mystery surrounds this eerie gorge?


Dayton Consolidated Mill and Mine was one of the first plants that used new cyanide equipment to process the ore in Silver City NV. This amazing historical site is a reminder of what once was as giant machines, wood stairs, furnances and gears grace this  mining operation. Carson City's Lone Mountain Cemetery may just be one of the classiest and prestigious cemeteries in all of Nevada. Rumored to be haunted by possibly the ghost of Mark Twain and many of the promiment dearly departed who once helped shaped todays State Capital. At one time Lone Mountain was divided into seven seperate burial grounds and today its 40 plus acres of shady trees gives this place a timeless journey.  Much history resides in Lone Mtn. Cemetery as some familes have been long forgotten.



Silver City Nevada served as an exporting industrial center just south of the  Comstock Lode and Virginia City. Today much of this ghost town remains abandoned and forgotten as many of the sites are rumored to be haunted by miners of its past.  Tour Silver City a true symbol of the Wild West, Devil's Gate and what once was.






Silver City Cemetery was once built near a slaughter house. Today many of its graves are so deplorable that even the spirits are calling out for help. Known for its humorous epitaphs this burial ground is home to many of those early pioneers who formed Silver City and even those who perished in shootouts. This beautiful cemetery is one of a kind with its European feel with a haunting view.





Gold Hill Nevada was never a town or city yet today its classified as one of the more well preserved ghost towns to date. With sites like the Yellow Jacket Mine and the oldest hotel in NV it is no wonder they are equally haunted as they are historic. At one time this community boasted over 8000 residents not much remains today but its cemeteries and a few remnants of what was. This was a town of luxury that met its demise as many of the wealthy went broke and lost it all.

 The Caledonia Mine Works is an examplatory example of modernized ore processing in the Comstock Lode region. Today this deplorable mill sits in desolation on a hill side overran by rodents and the miners which haunt it.





American Flats may just be one of the most haunted mills in the United Sates in addition to it being the largest concrete plant. In the 1800s this community was called American City leading to the construction of this concrete temple in the Comstock Lode. Gold Hill Masonic Cemetery was once a prestegious symbol of the early pioneers who mined the Comstock Lode in the earlier days of Gold Hill NV. Today four cemeteries have merged creating one giant deplorable burial ground of free masons that overlooks the town below. Do the dearly departed haunt its many crumbling grave sites or have they been forgotten?




Gold Hill Catholic Cemetery also known as American Flats burial ground is in a state of despair. With only a few grave sites remaining the scattered graves are barely legible along this old mining road where tragic miner tales are long forgotten. Adjacent to the Gold Hill Masonic Cemetery some feel this twin sister site is beyond any point of restoration as many of its early pioneers have been erased from history and consumed by sage brush.




Virginia City Nevada was one of the largest and wealthiest mining towns on the west coast. The Comstock Lode brought in over a billion dollars and some of the worst mining disasters in the countries history including the fire of 1875 which burnt down the entire town almost. This semi ghost town today is a  very bustling popular retreat for ghosthunters and historical buffs from many parts of the world. The Silver Terrace Cemeteries located out the outskirts of Virginia City once and still serves as the most beautiful cemeteries in the state of NV. At one time these gardens have withered as gravestones have toppled only adding to Virginia Cities tragic history. Rumored to be haunted with moving gravestones, apparitions of miners of the Comstock, glowing tombstones and its ghost lights these burial grounds are a paranormal jewel. At one time these burial grounds were  home to over 11 different  cemeteries which morphed eventually into one when many of the boundariers were torn down such as (Mason's, Pacific Coast Pioneers, Order Of  Odd Fellows, Knights Of Pythias, West End, Fireman's, Red Men, County, Silver Terrace, Wilson Brown and Mt. Saint Mary's Catholic) creating one very monolitic historic landmark.
Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Virginia City served the miners and their families of the Catholic Diocese. Today this historic cemetery is part of the Silver Terrace Cemeteries as it resides on a hill that overlooks St. Mary's Historic Church. Today thousands of enthusiast visit this hill to enjoy beautiful views of the city below and pray at its prestigious holy cross!

Storey County Public Cemetery was once a burial ground for those who were not involved with any given religion, order or class. This lush garden within the Silver Terrace Cemeteries is as gloomy as it is a place where the angels rest for eternity. We invite you to take a peek at this forgotten place we call solitude.




The Ancient Order Of Redmen and Wilson Brown Funeral House Cemeteries are crumbling as time passes by. Today very little remains of this cemetery accept a few legendary tales passed on about this area being used as a rifle range and about a vault that houses dead bodies that would be stored sometimes as long as weeks prior to their burials here.

The Exempt Firemen's Cemetery is a place where veterans firefighters are laid to rest who served the Comstock Lode. Some of the stories associated with this burial ground are tragic while others are of inspirational and heroic . Many fires occurred in Virginia City NV and the only thing standing in there way were these brave  men who were buried here after twenty years of devotional service.

 Devils Gate Mine greets the entrance to the pass where early pioneers of the Gold Rush were once looted. Today this mine sits abandoned in a canyon near an abandoned miners cabin where grim discoveres await to be found. This mine was one of the earliest mines in all of Silver City Nevada.



Lake Tahoe is one of the largest and deepest lakes in the world. It is a focal point of Sasquatch and Lake Monster Tessie sightings. Rumors of sunken ships, stage coaches and even underwater graveyards are amidst. What secrets lurk within this pristine alpine lake? Do the old lumber jacks still haunt its shores? Cave Rock is said to be one of the most sacred and ancient sites in all of Lake Tahoe. It is rumored also to be a burial ground and nesting grounds of Tessie which is a lake monster that has been sighted by the natives for over a century. Today boaters passing by have claimed to have seen the Lady Of The Lake while the Washoe Shamans once watched great thunderbirds swoop down over the lake below. Donner Lake & Memorial Site is the site of one of the worst tragedies in the frontier in western American History. The Donner Party who came from Illinois sought out to reach California only to become trapped at this very lake along the harash Emigrant Trail. They tried multiple timed to cross the sierras only to be face with starvation, freezing temperatures and would eventually resort to cannabilism. Today not much remains but the memorials and the very few artifacts that were gathered that can be seen at the museum on site. Life has gone on a 150 years later where today tales of murder and deception are still shared amongst the historians who theorize what really happened in the cold winter of 1846-1847. Rumor has it that the lake shore and its woods are haunted by members of the Donner Party who never made it out of here!




Rancho San Rafael has a century of history as it started off as a cattle farm all the way to a sheep ranch to gardens and a museum. One of the most scenic areas in Reno this ranch has tales of tragedy and love. Journey with us on this exploration to this  place of diverse culture, fauna and early ranch life.




 
Pyramid Lake said to be one of the most enchanting desert lakes in Nevada is the site of many myths and legends. Some of those myths include a giant serpent, underwater tunnels connecting to Lake Tahoe and even screaming babies that come for the living pulling fishermen right off their boats. Today this ancient lake is home to some of the largest cutthroat trout in the western United States. This region was once part of the Great Pyramid Lake War only today to be a place of peace and beauty.


The old Wadsworth Historic School survived a great fire and even the death of once this booming railroad town. Today its halls are haunted by its ghost of the past as this building is a symbol of the high self esteem that this town had for education.  Out of all the hsitoric sites surrounding Wadsworth this is the only and largest remnant of the railroading days. Today this foreboding structure is full of pigeons and symbols of its former glory!


Berlin & Union Nevada were wealthy mining camps that eventually went bust. Some of the remaining structures including the mill are some of the finest historical sites in western ghost town history.  Today much of the town still remains as artifacts are scattered amongst the hillsides. At one time a vast sea once graced the Shoshone range where Ichthyosaur's swam in which they eventually ended up fossilized near where the town resides today. Not only is this one of the most photographed ghost towns in the heart of Nevada it just may be the most haunted as the unseen lurks amongst its tunnels and historic sites.




Washoe City Cemetery has many names and faces most of them forgotten as history passes by. Today this burial ground resides along the main highway heading up to Reno is overran with sage brush and threats of vandals.  Many of the dearly departed are lost and may never be remembered at the base of the high sierras. Do the spirits of Pleasant Valley roam these deplorable grounds filled with sadness?









Grimes Point at one time in history was underwater covered by the ancient lake Lohontan only eventually to become the hunting grounds of ancient native tribes who buried there dead in its caves. It is also one of the sites where the oldest mummy in North America was discovered and Shoshone Shamans performed ceremonies where today those petroglyphs are left behind on over 150 Basalt rocks. The Grimes Point area was used for hunting while other natives sought shelter in its variety of caves and shelters. Rumor has it those who dare to venture in this great basin area have visions while others have claimed that there are secret portals that ancient alien races use to travel to and from. Washoe Alpine Cemetery has many names and may just be one of the most haunted cemeteries in the high sierras or Alpine County for that matter. The Washoe Indian Falls is an ancient sacred location along the East Carson River. Today the tribal land surrounding these falls resides a strangeness which includes unexplainable tracks, vanishing wolves and a very eerie energy found along its dark roads.  This hidden jewel is as dazzling as it is strange!




Markleeville California was once a booming mining town in the Sierras however today it serves as an oasis in the wilderness. Rumors of haunting's of some of its older historic sites and numerous Bigfoot sightings are amidst for almost a century. Despite its tragic history this area is full of life and mystery!





   
Kongsberg and Centerville Flat California were two mining towns that went bust in Ebbetts Pass. This region of the high sierras is one of the most scenic, secluded and alluring wildenerness areas in all of California.
