Every year around the fall or near Halloween I try to at least make an effort to visit a very special haunted location. This does not include all the other locations we investigate every October but in particular a site that really stands out from the rest like this estate built in 1940 in one of the oldest parts of town.

I been doing some work up at the Sparks estate for a couple months now and Tammy she spends most of her time here. So I have spent a couple months having experiences of my own and hearing the experiences from others about the estate. This does not even including watching the CCTV which also revealed a few strange happenings.

The home was owned by the Sparks who had it built then eventually it went from one owner to the next. Some owners kept it a year or two but nobody remained. From what I read the original owners husband passed away then she sold the home then in the 1970's the same thing. So more then likely at least different widows seen her husband pass while living here.

Many of the people who bought this home were middle aged to elderly over the years and today its now a business not a residence. It still looks like a cozy home in every way but its not therefore it seems when people rent the building or buy it they tend to get more then what they bargained for which is the case with just about any haunting!

I first became intrigued with the property after I heard a woman screaming in the basement then objects were being moved around here in the next room. I spent weeks talking with Tammy about her experiences and some of the employees. This estate has ghostly voices, objects moving around, pounding on the floor, doors opening and closing. Sometimes apparitions are seen of a woman while others have heard or seen a guy.

This is a historical site therefore the home is going to be added to the National Registry Of Historic Places in the near future. I personally love the estate because more then often you can walk the grounds there are tons of flowers and even deer grazing. Almost every time I visit here there are does with there fawns or bucks eating apples off the apple tree out back. Ivy grows out back up the side of a wall and nature is found around the entire estate ranging from flowers to birds and deer everywhere. The sierras are right here so nature comes down from the national forest and graze on the property. There is even a huge bee hive high up in this old cotton wood tree that is found next to the house definitely a site to see!

I had planned on doing an actual investigation of the home close to Halloween not because its spookier but to treat our members to something special. Besides the estate is decorated beautifully this time of year and so it fits the seasonal grand scheme of things. So we did this investigation around midnight very late when things quiet down here. It also seems like the activity is more prevalent at night for some reason were not sure why this is but those who stay late seem to encounter more on the property.

I would set up cameras and a voice recorder then we stepped out to get some cigars and latte's. I had as you can guess a pumpkin spice latte I get them all over town its like an addiction lol. But if your going to chase or bust them ghost I like to have a nice cup of coffee and take my time. It was a brisk autumn night moon behind the clouds leaves falling off all the large trees that surround the estate and me versus the dearly departed.

Sparks Estate

I started the investigation off in the basement its very damp down here and allot of cobwebs. There also is two secret crawl spaces or openings that go under portions of the house. One is underneath the basement stairs the other one is above some shelves and piles of boxes.

Allot of the activity comes from the basement and I worked down here for about a good hour by myself. It was very quietly but you can feel something is here just watching. I mean the basement door opens on its own sometimes they throw boxes down here they vanish also. There is also pounding on the ceiling coming from the basement and other strange happenings like the camera being moved when its stationary.

I put up a tripod along with cams here did some readings but they have to be discounted. Every room in the estate gave off very high readings on my EMF gadget. I found this to be the base with every single closet I visited and even the bathrooms. The basement has wiring and power boxes so again you cant count the basement. But if there is allot of energy down here maybe something ghostly is harnessing it to manifest possibly.

I did the investigation in various phases first was the documentary, second was readings, EVP's and then finally photography. I was very thorough I did not get out of the estate till the sun almost came up. I like to spend time at some locations that way I can listen and work with who or whatever haunts such a location.

There are allot of patchy cold spots in this home its very strange but I took thermal readings and its one extreme to the next. One room might be 76 degrees the next room is 61.5 degrees. The basement, room that has never been renovated and foyer seem to be active areas.

I did a full interview with Tammy which I cant wait to integrate it into our site because she talks allot about her own personal experiences here. Some of the things that she has experienced or witnessed would blow your mind. When I was interviewing her we heard something fall on the opposite end of the house but we could not find what it was. More then often you will find things moved, displaced or knocked over here.

Other then that I felt the estate was quiet I had gotten upstairs a few erratic readings for example I went into the bathroom the EMF jumped to a twelve its only supposed to go as high as 10 then it flickered to a two and back up to an eight. I seemed to get allot of mixed readings not sure if something was moving around me room to room or what the deal was.

I thought something touched me during the investigation also or tugged on my shirt. There is so many little things going on here you have to catch it. The room I heard furniture move weeks ago the closet was very cold it still has the original wallpaper when the home was built.

Tammy showed me a red spot on her carpet in her conference room its very strange almost looks like blood. Nobody is allowed back there yet one day she walks in and there is this red spot there. One of the other rooms the light was off yet the light was still flickering as if there was still power perhaps a short its hard to know for sure.

I also went outside to take a break and we walked the grounds not as exciting as being in the home though. But Tammy has been outside when she seen someone inside as the home has many big windows where you can look throughout it.

Other then that the investigation went very peaceful I did not hear voices this time but there were some unexplained noises throughout the night. I generally will hear something then ill go investigate it and sometimes I cant find out who or what caused it. When I was interviewing Tammy about the haunting's that transpire here we heard what sounded like a cup fall in the kitchen but yet when we went to check it out everything looked fine. ALLOT of little things like this happen all the time here so you cannot help noticing strange noises or furniture being moved around especially when the strange occurrences seem to be prevalent daily!

The home was renovated in the past and it seems like between that and all these people buying it may have stirred something up but that of course is just one of my theories. It seems when Tammy first moved the company in here that first week the hauntings here were off the hook then it slowed down. The server company asked Tammy have you seen our female ghost lol. She did not even mention anything paranormal to them they said it all on there own.

I can tell you right now I been doing this a long time this house is 110 percent haunted and its the real deal. Its not something you seen for entertainment on TV for ratings but an actual haunted house. The people who had the home built date back to the regions history from the 1800's. Which will talk more about the history when we add this location to our site for now I want to keep others on there toes.

Although it does not creep me out because I been here alone and done most of the investigation by myself there is something here. I am not sure if the original owners who passed decided to never leave this property or if all the other previous owners were spooked by whatever is here. But I believe that this home which years ago was abandoned may have been an active haunt that scared anyone who tried to make this place a home.

You have to remember the investigation was for me to taking scientific readings but technically I been investigating the property for almost two months now. Over those two months I have witnessed allot like Tammy's office closet opened by itself just little things like that. Something is definitely here and it could be more then one ghost that haunts the estate.

Its a very intriguing home its not very large a small kitchen, two conference rooms both were new additions, large den with a fireplace, two offices, two bathrooms and a few old closets. One of the closets has its original light fixture while all the hard floors are original. But I have seen older pictures and the home over the years has changed greatly due to all the renovations. Sometimes renovations stir up the dearly departed and I do think that maybe this may be what is happening.

I did wrap up the investigation in the basement looked in the crawl spaces found even this safe or lock box built into the wall. Besides the estate having some mild activity there was a doll that was pretty creepy I found. Whatever is here has gotten kind of use to me I have not had much of an issue with it but one of the ladies upstairs stays later and the entities love to pick on her with banging noises or screaming through the vents at her from the basement lol.

In all due time will be posting photos, history, videos and EVP evidence in the future. Its not to often you find a real haunted house with furniture that moves or you can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that you know its haunted. I will next year do a second follow up investigation but the prologue and first investigation are complete on this project. We will have it beautifully and professionally put together! Their will be more then one project will perform with this location so state tuned!

Its hard to know everything that goes on here since I do not live here. But I hear allot of stories about this place and its quite fascinating. I do not find the estate creepy but there is always that feeling like your being watched. I also have noticed if your there alone the house becomes more activity you start to hear every little noise. I cant explain the furniture moving sounds, voices, cold spots and massive EMF irregular readings found here. But I do believe that the state is one of the more haunted houses I have investigated in my paranormal career to date.

On the outside its cozy and quaint deer grazing all day long flowers in bloom. But at night things go bump in the night here even during the day if you spend enough time here. This is a true American haunted house historical in every way surrounded by large trees and it comes with quite a few strange tales. I feel lucky enough to do it and glad to have had Tammy give me the opportunity to do a full investigation of the premises this past October. Will be working with it more we did lost our Infrared evidence from the cams because the security company failed to tell us they delete content after so long so will have to start anew but their is never a shortage of activity here.

A mass of energy captured near the back entry to the estate which appears to have two entities one being a man probably with a rigid nose, chiseled chin and perhaps a long mustache. The other being a woman with possibly curly here. Based on my interviews and what I experienced I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the estate is haunted by a man and woman. Some people who spend time here often talk about experiencing one or the other. I believe their are three ghosts that haunt the estate that being two men and one woman. The male entities seem to be more mischievous such as moving furniture around, running in the lobby and banging on the floors. While the female ghost more then often shows herself from afar or tends to move objects from one room to the next. More then likely these two entities I captured were the couple who lived here and as far as I know the husband died while in possession of the home. Which means he either died in the home or possible outside of it therefore this is there home were just borrowing it hence the haunts here!

Same mass of energy only this time its outside the estate gates and seemed to follow me to this location. You can kind of make out a face in the mass the darker part of the energy probably is the entity itself . That is just something to bare in mind is that the ghost that haunt the estate have followed Tammy home before as one time she came out to the jeep only to smell perfume inside of an older woman and a bunch of settings being changed when she sat down inside. Where the mass is near the fence is also the parking area of the estate.

I really cant say for sure this face is ghostly it just might be a reflection of the plantlife in the glass. However, numerous times a figure has been seen in the windows from the back all the way to the kitchen which is directly through this window. Sometimes employees will see a figure just standing there but by the time anyonce can react to go check it out they simply vanish. Nobody can be inside of the estate when the alarms are turned on therefore nobody can get in. The men who leased the property prior use to always see the ghost of a female who on occasion would show herself to them.

In the basement is a safe built into the wall to be honest with you its not something that you see to often. Someone purposely put a steel plated box in the wall to store perhaps valuables. Its nothing special as their is no combo locks but rather it once had a key hole to unlock it then it appeared later someone put in a bracket so they could secure it with a padlock. Who knows what was held inside the safe at one time perhaps someone's life savings, handguns, jewelry or even information pertaining to the house itself. I did rotate the photo for easier viewing but the latch actually faces up and down which fell on its own hitting me in the back when I was filming on site. If you watch our video called "An All American Haunting" towards the end of the documentary this latch hit me in the back making me jump which I mention. It was random per say and again just another little strange long list of occurrences within the estate.

Also pay close attention to the photo in the lower left corner. This is the most haunted room in the estate which today is sort of used as an office. Despite it being one of the offices right now nobody ever really goes inside this room and why? Because the room is haunted and its all original its never been touched by numerous renovations. Even the wallpaper found inside the closet is original! During my first visit here I was moving around furniture and was by myself when all of sudden I heard a woman in the basement and furniture moving by itself. The basement where the safe is and this very room seem to be focal points of paranormal activity!

When I was beginning to interview Tammy about the haunts on this property this ghost fell onto the floor which is just a Halloween decoration but still the timing was perfect. I cant say for sure the spirits did this but if they did they sure were being pranksters as I was about to discuss with Tammy the history and strangeness that surrounds the estate.

Sometimes the carpets or wood floors get these red spots on them my first thought would have theorized its blood since we do not keep red pens or markers at the estate only blue or black. For some reason we cant get it out of the carpet and when you watch you will see that when Tammy touches it she states that it constantly seems wet as she smears it across her thumb and index finger. Nobody has access to this room as its attached to Tammy's office other then a supervisor or receptionist so it definitely is bizarre and worth sharing with everyone.

Basement thermal temps reached about 66 degrees were not sure why it was much cooler then this earlier during the investigation. I wanted to make sure the temps were not varying to much between the start of the investigation to the very end. Nobody wants to go in the basement and despite it being one it still at times can be very hot or very cool. The basement seems to be where most of the paranorml activity occurs and I say this because I have experienced it myself.

This thermal temp was recorded in Tammy's office moments after we had EMF fluctuations. Despite the temperature reading at almost 77 degrees a thermal stat stated otherwise that indeed the estate at the time was much cooler in the 60s. Hot and cold spots are often felt randomly throughout the estate by others including me we just have no idea why this is but it may be paranormal.

Below are photo clips from various EMF Gauss readouts taken in various rooms of the estate. Strangely I find that the bathrooms have quite allot of EMF readings, lobby, conference rooms and office. Tammy often has issues with things being moved around but more so the door to the closet opens by itself. I know this because I stood still in her office watching the needle move up and down fluctuating. The only time I generally get red on the meter is if its up to a microwave oven, fridge, vehicle dash, transformers etc. But the lights in the estate should not cause such high EMF levels therefore I believe there are unseen energies lurk within the estate. I can understand the basement having high EMF that is where the fuse box is and all the electrical wiring that runs down from the walls under the ceiling. No matter what you believe in theory wherever you have high EMF levels your going to have some kind of paranormal activity. Their is a science to what we do here we cant always assume things we have to live by experience and by what the gadgets tell us!
