Its not something you should miss if your going to the St. Louis area. Their is more mosaics then anywhere in the world found in this place of worship besides Russia. The first time I went here the doors were locked then again maybe I just did not try the right door they seem to lock most of the doors. But I went to do a photo session of the outside of the cathedral just for our website. I just had left the zoo which btw is one of the best zoos I ever been to in the country and ill be sure to include a gallery on our website of my experience there. Were a family orientated site so I try to share things that make an impact on the daily lives of our viewers its not just about ghosts only. But I was tired after leaving the zoo so I just wanted to check out the grounds maybe walk around the gardens a little. I had planned on coming back a second time only this time I would come back a couple hours before my plane back home so I did not have much time. Because not only did I need to be at the airport I still had to get lunch and return my rental vehicle. But I did walk the grounds a second time this time I focused more on the nature here. The grounds are full of flowers and statues. Its so green here even in October so its meant to be enjoyed which is why I decided to spend my time here before leaving St. Louis even if I am not a religious person. I tried a few doors they were locked but one of them was not so I entered the cathedral. I totally missed the museum and crypts below. I feel bad because I wanted to see them and did not realize I could have but I missed the stairs to go down there and had gotten side tracked in awe of the mosaics, nave, chapels and sanctuary. Besides the fact that their are three massive cupolas above all with art and windows letting some light in. The cathedral is just amazing their are statues everywhere, mosaics, gold in the walls, candles lit and of course your holy water which I tried not to make boil lol. I kept quiet did a photo shoot and took a few EVP. I only need some evidence just to prove its a haunted site therefore I did not need to go all out. More or less I visited here for its history and beauty. Honestly, this is probably one of the nicest and oldest cathedrals west of the Mississippi and is something everyone should seen. I mean the marble floors, giant pillars, old carved wooden pews and religious depictions are crisp. Its really an amazing site and its rich with a century of history as well dating back to prominent weddings as well as funerals. I did not see many people here there was a baby crying in the distance during my visit and a few people taking a tour. But I was mostly on my own while my son and Tammy looked around. I know for a fact that even though I took tons of video and photos that this is only about fifty percent of the cathedral while there is many off-limits areas most people will never get to see that includes me. But I enjoyed my time here I just did not have enough time to do all I wanted that includes the crypts below. You can take a tour but I sort of just went in to do my own thing and focused on the main sites within the cathedral that I could show off on our website. If you want to see more I recommend you visit here its well worth a gander even if your not a religious person. At one time the pope came to this cathedral so its kind of a big deal. It was quiet here but I was all over the place because it offers so much to see and then I think what have I not seen. I mean their are gardens surrounding the cathedral and I doubt I seen all of them but I did a nature shoot to kind of show off it a little so really this was more then just me seeking out the churches ghosts. It was about showing various sides to this cathedral that others might overlook. I almost did not make my flight I had to locate gas, get lunch, make it to the airport and get checked in. I barely made my flight and the church had kept me there as long as I could stay so it sucks I did not have more time. I actually took some photos and video from my flight to put on the site so people could see that I went from a zoo to a cathedral and then to being at 40k' lol. All part of the adventure and all included of course on our site. I cant say anything weird happened to me at the cathedral but I am willing to bet when the place quiets down and your roaming it at 3am it probably has its fair share of strange happenings this I do not doubt. I am very careful about the sites that I pick to be hosted through our website. Because I want people to learn things and enjoy these locations. So I make sure I visit sites that make an impact on our viewers and I think this cathedral will. I am not sure what I captured on the recorder or even through our photos but I plan on carefully studying all the content so we can make a case that some spirits may haunt this cathedral.  This anomaly is a gem its not an orb, reflection, light or a piece of dust. It is some kind of golden energy caught near the top of the archway in the beginning to the long corridor high up. Its also golden and its not caused by a flash because I did not use one in the cathedral for the obvious reasons that I wanted to keep my photography on the down low. Its just an anomaly could be a spirit but its the real deal. You have to understand that this cathedrals has seen hundreds of funerals over the years and most likely energy is probably very prevalent over the years due to how many people have spent years praying within its walls. I believe we captured something really special here because most orbs or dust are captured due to the flash reflecting off of it but without a flash this makes the anomaly extremely authentic that was captured above. |

| Since we visited the Basilica right after the zoo and before leaving St. Louis a second time I thought it would be awesome to show our viewers a taste of St. Louis. Which is why this edition on our site is driven to be family orientated hence the church and the zoo together. I really enjoyed the St. Louis Zoo its so well kept and has so many different types of animals you can see. More importantly at the time it was an experience for my son that he will hopefully always cherish. A bit of a combination of family activities combined with some mild ghosthunting all wrapped up together into one. |

| As soon as I was done with my investigation of the Basilica I boarded my flight back to Reno Nevada. Some of you do not fly so your always curious as to what the Rockies or what the view is like from a plane so I took these photos. Honestly, when your a UFOlogist your one for life and some of the best UAP's and UFOs are sighted from airplanes so I was hoping to see something since I was pretty uptight about getting home I would not sleep on this flight at all so I wanted to put myself to some use for the ride home. I obviously did not get anything but still its all part of the trip so I decided to include the photos for our viewers who want to delve into things a little more. |
