My day at Tiger Creek in April of 2008 would be like no other as a local told me about this location. I thought to myself why not roll a blunt.....pack a lunch...get the fishing poles and take the lion for a walk. We drove up past Pine Grove its a town up in gold country very woodsy part of the El Dorado National Forest just east of Jackson CA.

When we arrived it was getting very hot out.....we had walked past the power plant....sneezer was panting and overheating as I was hiking with him. It was a cool area because they had rapids.....giant rock formations....steep hills with trees.....a reservoir like area with still water etc. I liked the little trails that led down to the water.

We hiked almost a mile in and found an old dam where we walked down the stair well. Their was a guy later that came along and jumped in the icy cold water. These people in the mountains do not seem to care if the water is cold but my ass walks on water just like Jesus when I touch cold water.

I threw sneezer in the water he swam back twice. In addition I had to throw my son in there actually that was more like a joke kids and their temper tantrums. It was a rough trip my son shit his pants cause he could not hold it....I had to wash him in the stream.....their was no trout biting at all. I instead went hiking climbing boulders bigger then me that was alot of fun accept for the thorn brush we encounters along the trail. 

I wanted to look for caves I know they are present in the area it would be interesting to explore it further. The power plant was much like the one on the Moke River same architecture and everything.

Their was a really pretty girl in a little bikini that was sunbathing near us just further down stream. Everything was coming out with her I got the full view. I hear alot of stories about gold being found in this stream so it would be nice to do some panning here but also some Bigfoot searching also.

When I packed it up their was a group of people hanging at the picnic area tons of guys, girls, dogs and kids. I wanted to join in the fun so bad but that's just me lol.

I went up the mountain a little ways parked....went to an overhang near the edge of the water....sat on a fallen tree and smoked a joint. I mean its just something you have to do if your going to party up at Tiger Creek. There are other pull off areas but keep in mind your right in the heart of Jellystone so you know its a beautiful location were visiting.
