Carson Sheriff’s school officers receive training


























While Carson City students get the week off for spring break, the Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officers have been hard at work receiving training on basic school enforcement.The training provides officers with instruction on law enforcement functions when conducted in a school environment, including de-escalation techniques, mentoring students and becoming a positive role model for students. The training also covers public speaking skills for classroom management to help provide law-related education to students.
