We are at the entrance of the Devils Lake Trail which very quickly turns muddy and full of brush. To get to the trail you have to climb up this dirt road over a mountain which is full of rocks and holes. What would await us at the end of this 1.5 mile trail?
As we traverse deeper on the trail the foliage is very thick making it hard to see the trail. At times some of it grows right onto the trail while other areas a seasonal creek flows right onto the trail itself. Such a habitat could provide Bigfoot a well amount of cover to remain elusive.

This vista point gives us great views of the lake and the granite mountain that resides behind it. From here and out its all downhill a very steep descent as well. The lake from above appears to be very pristine but it also looks very hard to navigate its shores.
Foliage is thick once we reach the lake followed by a mix of huge granite boulders and many downed trees. One can only wonder if this is an ideal location to sustain a Bigfoot like creature. There are so many places for anything to hide without it ever being seen.

Nature is very abundant here just as a huge butterfly and dragonfly population. In this video I try to film some of them as I am scouring the lake shore for prints and any other strange fines. Also keep in mind that Devil's Lake is one of the very few lakes in this mountain range that contain leeches.
There is no path that loops around the lake so we take the one less taken which is our own. We are having a hard time trying to get around the lake as massive granite rocks, downed trees and thick brush block passage. Its very obvious that very few humans ever make it around the entire lake without difficulty.

The shoreline is full of tall grass and mud so I would search accessible areas of it for impressions. Unlike most lakes that are in the sierras this one is surrounded by heavy foliage and granite. So finding footprints would be a daunting task.
As I was leaving the area I found this diaper which I dug up. Perhaps not paranormal it is a reminder to keep our forest clean. Either someone refused to carry it out thus they buried it or they just were to lazy. Either way I found this to be an odd place for any child to be.

The tall grass and plant life near the shore looked as if it had been mowed down. Whether a bear, man or Bigfoot came through here is quite evident. However this patch looks as if something may have been lying down creating an 8' x 5' area of downed brush.
This is a short clip of the rocky and rough road leaving the Devil's Lake area. Towards the end of the video the truck almost tipped over on its side as I had to hug the side of the mountain. The road is full of giant boulders and massive holes its not pleasant but it keeps out traffic to the region.
