Entoniah Cemetery sits in Bardin Booger Territory a bigfoot creature that has plagued this region for many years. I did the cemetery for one reason only because of its location. Many years ago there was a sighting of someone seeing this thing cross the road holding a dog. It went into the cemetery and disappeared so you can only imagine how exciting it was to investigate this place.

Along the cemetery is a trail which leads out to a creek and many more trails. So that would explain why someone seen this thing head into the cemetery area. It was accessible for this creature to cross the road and go into the woods.

The cemetery has at least 1000 burials its actually quite large with even a section in the center with some of the 1800 year old graves. The church sits in front of the cemetery but Is separate from the cemetery itself. Its also rumored to be within the top three of oldest cemeteries in Putnam County.

Most of the cemetery is rather covered in sand and dirty not alot of grass or tree cover here despite the thick forest that surrounds this area. You can tell at one time it suffered vandalism one of the stones as carvings and writing on it with words....and graffiti. Not to far away is a local hangout so perhaps this has something to do with it.

The cemetery serves those in Bardin and surrounding areas. Bardin is a rural town most of the people live in the woods and surrounding Entoniah National Forest.
