Barnes Cemetery is a private burial ground located behind a Baptist Church and School. Its not although that old and its in very good shape because it is a private location. It is ran by the Barnes family however other names besides their own are buried here. The oldest stone here or first burial was a Noel Barnes who died at the age of two in 1880 but then its hard to say if that is the oldest cause seven stones have no markers. Some of the graves date back to the early 1900s while a majority of them are that of the last twenty years.  The cemetery has the church one one end the houses on two other ends its only the size of of your average backyard not very big and not as eerie as some of St. Augustine's Cemeteries.
