I call this video the eve of Snow Mountain. You are seeing what could possibly be one of my last videos ever taken for The Paranormal & Ghost Society. I will climb it tomorrow morning notice how the sun is going down so fast that by the end of it the mountain is consumed by darkness. Snow Mountain is one of the most treacherous mountains in Las Vegas and tomorrow I will show the world why I am the Lord where things must end brings upon new beginnings. Taken on Dec. 6th 2008

One of the only roads that gets remotely even close to the sheep Mountain range. Notice how dismal it is which sets the tune for the excursion.

I am hiking in the desert towards the Sheep Mountains. It looks close but in reality what seems like a few minutes of walking can easily turn into hours in the Mojave desert easily. Just as a peak that looks a few hundred feet in actual reality is thousands. The hike is rather strenuous alot of cactus's and sharp rocks.

Here is one of the many burial markers put into place by the Paiute Indians of the area. Many powwows are held around the base of the mountain its an extremely sacred location.

I made it through the desert encounter rock formations, canyons and cliffs ahead. I cannot see the peak little do I know its quite a few cliffs, mountains and obstacles ahead of me.

As you can see in this video their are no trails just alot of desert fauna, rocks, and a giant cliff ahead. Sometimes you can avoid a cliff but going up the side of a slope but it can be very dangerous as the higher the slope the deeper the drop off behind you.

The point of no return the cliffs ahead are getting larger and things are becoming more difficult. Watch my interview as I set up the camera on a rock and talk about my plans to get to Gass Peak...also as I call Snow Mountain.

I made it up a cliff then followed the ledge along a deep ravine. I have a choice to climb risk myself or jump over a crevice which means if I fell into it I could really get hurt. Either way has some level of hardship.

Watch this video as I talk about losing a shoe and about finishing the exploration barefoot. I did a majority of this hike with my socks and barefoot then with shoes. I suffered for it greatly but I was already deep in a canyon thousands of feet up.

I am standing on a cliff I just climbed its a long ways down and now I have to figure out how to climb the rest of it. Its rather truck because some rocks are loose, plants grow along the edges, while some are smooth walls with nothing to grip onto.

Were making our ascension very safely the view of the Las Vegas Valley is gorgeous from atop of this cliff as we look down into a canyon.

I climbed a cliff and Gass Peak reappeared in my sights. It looks like just a hop skip and jump however it would take another four hours to get to.

I am in the wrong business should have done TV commercials Propel PGS's drink of choice in the Sheep Mountains. I give our fans a better description of the area and peak ahead.

Want a quick way over a mountain without falling? Try rock sledding I been doing it for years do not try this at home. It can be beneficial but also very dangerous if not done right. I was in a valley and had to make sometime.

Towards the end of the video it cut off just as the air force jets flew directly over me. The loose rock is killing my stamina its very hard to maneuver through it as I make my way to the peak.

Just as the base of the summit made it through all the loose rock, cliff etc winds are picking up....almost level with the clouds. Its getting late I start to realize that I more then likely will be spending the night up here.

I am standing fairly close to Gass Peak on a summit overlooking the southern side of the Sheep Mountain Range. I have been hiking for over 8 hours a very long historical achievement video. The winds are severe, a storm is coming, nightfall is setting in and the tribulations ahead after this would be just the beginning.

Another video from the peak as darkness falls things are not looking so great. There is sleet, high winds, Las Vegas is all lit up, I am suffering from muscle pulls and abrasions. I am getting ready to make my descent off the mountain.

It is 4:30pm almost completely dark out Vegas is all lit up. I went down at a different angle and I am having trouble finding a safe way off the mountain. I am trying to keep optimistic hoping for some hot coco and some myspace loving lol. Unfortunately it never did happen and this is the area my pants became torn to shreds.

Nightfall sets in its dark cliffs all around me the lights are low you can hear it raining. I am barefoot....cut up....you can see some of the Las Vegas lights its a crazy adventure.

I am still in good spirits about halfway down into the canyon. Its getting hard cliffs are all over and I keep going over ridge after ridge hoping for a less steep descent. You can see Las Vegas all lit up and twinkling. I am very far away from civilization its very cold.

Nothing is worst then having injured feet in the dark. My feet are in alot of pain I been climbing cliffs, walking on jagged rocks the feet are now bleeding and ice cold from the elements.

I am starting to lose socks, shoes, clothing etc I am more then halfway down in the pitch of night. Vegas lights are starting to fade as I get ready to go into a giant canyon and its still sleeting out.

I am not doing so well the hypothermia is almost kicking in, my feet are so cut up I can barely walk, my rear end is bleeding making it impossible to even shimmy along steep ledges. I am behind the mountains and foothills now getting closer to the desert where my car is at.

It is 6am it is freezing, I am congested, feet bleeding, backside bleeding, hypothermia and laying on the edge of a ravine with a cliff. I noticed when the sun came up a way down into the ravine but its a narrow ledge if help does not come. Things are not looking good but I survived the night making my way a few thousand feet in the dark with little light.

Some video footage from my helicopter ride. They landed...I climbed in...then when it lifted off...I reached for my camera and filmed the canyon I was in. As you can see I almost made it out of there but even sadly the desert would have killed my feet with all its cactus needles. My SOS radio signal was heard and my journey to recover and home began.
