The Wintry Home

The Wintry home is just a name that I gave it when I felt the cold. The cold could mean a change in temperature or perhaps something that we do not yet understand known as a higher level entity. I have heard stories about the house itself they never change as my friends tell me about experiences. First their was Thanksgiving my friend Steve cooked an awesome turkey. I didn't bring my recorder and my camera was dead since it was not charged. At the time I just briefly got acquainted with everybody. Its not easy being Lord Rick with black nails and a devilish grin. But to sit down and break bread with others is something I enjoy doing. I like to learn about other peoples travels......paranormal occurrences......life experiences. I learn very fast and the earth is like a vessel of knowledge. So at the party I remember to hearing about the ghost that haunt the home.

So this past weekend I was invited to a dinner party where I could spend more time just looking around. Its the best way to handle a haunt is to become a friend to it. I set up my recorder up by the boys bedroom. Honestly based on my ability to learn fast I adapt fast too. I sensed a ghost in the child's room watching me slowly come in turning the lights on. The issue was though is that it was not a switch but a dial light. When I felt no switch on the wall I freaked ha turning on the bathroom light out in the hall instead.  I admit I was partying hardcore....drinking champagne, bud lite and toking. I toke because I can it is symbolic to our freedom and that is one of my main goals of being the owner of The Paranormal & Ghost Society. So what if I partied I realized that it was better to be relaxed to let yourself go in such a way that you could delve deeper into the paranormal.

So yes I felt watched in the child's room now keep in mind their is a story about the haunting that goes with this which ill explain more on our website when I update this. I placed the recorder their and I left it. I was downstairs for awhile talking....laughing.....telling stories. I like to entertain wherever I go if your not laughing your not having fun yet and if your not crying then were not scaring you good enough lol. Okay bad joke maybe a good one however yes I did an investigation at a party. I mean I could impress others with ethics but were not here for that we as paranormal enthusiast are here for one thing and that is "The Truth" and that is what Lord Rick brings you so make sure you also tune into the show as will talk about the house more in detail April 23rd 2010.

Anyhow as I left the recorder out prior to this Steve came upstairs was startled thought he seen a ghost but it turns out it was me. I guess he didn't realize I went upstairs but during my investigations we take EVPs and photos at the same time since they both hold some relevancy. Tammy was passed out she missed a good investigation shame shame lol:)~ its okay though she will make it up to me in other ways. See wouldn't you wish everybodies life was like romancing the stone haha wtf right? Ghost....Partying.....two of my favorite things and two of yours if you are open enough to admitting it here on our forums lol. Anyhow I am babbling so anyhow.

I talked about Alcatraz as Steve has been there and to many of the mines in the area. We were actually thinking about investigating it and all going together the place is an awesome hotspot for ghost. But going back to the mines many of them are haunted historical monuments that are great explorations.  I always welcome anybody who has the guts and glory to go into these mines. We go into mines because we can and we have fun doing it. Is it any safer then walking out to your front yard to get the newspaper? Yeah Yeah just do not go anywhere you cannot get out of that is the miners adventure rule at the top of all rules. If you go down a ladder and it breaks then your stuck in a lower level its the chance you take. Just as I heard a story about someone walking out to get the newspaper stepped down and broke their ankle with no real reasoning behind it. Is this paranormal things happen for a reason and so it was nice to exchange stories about these local mines. But also to hear about the haunting's related to the Wintry Home.  So life is about the choices we make and chances we take. We go out exploring see nothing we go out exploring the next week and see a flying saucer.

I eventually came upstairs and brought the recorder downstairs. I left the recorder inside a small cubby closet like a half closet tall enough to hold a vacuum cleaner and some supplies. The cubby went far back almost felt like something was inside staring up at me as I reached down to put the recorder against something. The laundry room seems to be the highest area of activity maybe even the source. I went back outside and Steve put some wings on the bbq with a marinade he invented.

The party started to die out one couple went home I met a couple times......my friends lady friend was groping but hey its cool with me they don't call you the good lord for nothing lol. Laugh folks its okay if you cannot take a joke but if your learn to laugh a little some of you might actually enjoy the unknown just as I do:) and so a few things were odd.

You see when I finished the recording in the boys room I noticed it had an hour left remaining of recording space. When I recorded in the laundry room and checked it....it said I had 2 hours and 24 mins left of recording time. In simple terms my recorder was acting odd. Like for example I whisper the wintry home and I go to play it and it has me shouting it. Its like come on the party was downstairs it was quiet upstairs. Point is just little things like this perhaps equipment failure who knows. Steve placed a recorder once for 5 hours as some of the stories he told me would freak the shit out of you guys.

I became more active in my investigation and saw a dark room to my left. This is the guest bedroom Steve sleeps in this room often telling me something about being the son of Godstone. He told me how the room changed into a medieval setting. I felt allot of energy in Steve's room but I felt something more dormant in there. For example you go into a place that has demons....the demons are found in dark attics....basements...rooms...and places. It does not take much to awaken such things when your exploring a place.

So I felt energy in his room not that its bad often people come around me getting different vibes some good some bad. Nothing is perfect in life but balance is very important. I took some photos in the mirror of the room since it wasn't a large room that was the best angle I could get at. I was not comfortable going into the room nothing to do with my friends but I felt again like something was in the corner just watching me perhaps as close as getting right up to my face. I felt some cold in this area of the house not sure why but their was more warmth outside then their was inside. Not a temperature change cold just the fact that I felt one cold spot which means it could be one of the entities that haunts the home itself.

After leaving the recorder on I wrapped it on up. I was eating some wings took a few more photos. We had a fire going outside.....I was having a blast. I had a good time everytime I hang out at this house. But see anybody who visits the home would never think nothing of the paranormal unless you are open to it. The fact is that imagine how some of you have your loved ones still with you even if you wish to call it the other side.

Each day my society is here to tell you that their is life beyond death. I will share the photos on our site....stories....hopefully something ghostly. I do think that these random haunting's are hard to catch as the activity seems to be at any hour according to what I learned during the party.

Both Steve and I went to Mount Potosi around the same time just separate times. We also will have that update out this week. That is one of the greatest places I ever went to in the southern Nevada region. I am not sure anything compares to that. That mine gets all stars and the scenic views and snow yeah lol.

It is so awesome to meet others in this area who explore. Hopefully in the future Steve and I can jointly visit some mines in the area this summer. I wanted to thank him for his hospitality the last couple parties they been fun and I enjoyed talking about some of these mines. Their are ghost in many of the mines visited and well I found out rather that the haunting's the home are not in relation to them. This is rather a haunting that has followed them something will get on into later. The other energy I felt could be poltergeist energy. In simple terms a human builds up another energy to CREATE. I will not talk much about this just that I felt two energies here one a ghost and one from a human that being Steve. Now others have weaker energy or energy you cannot read well but some people who are more in tune with things their energy is stronger.

I was going to do the home prior to the party but we just been so busy. I have looked back and realized these last couple months I been to some really kick ass locations. This is what exploring is about and if the paranormal comes with it even better!

A majority of the EVPs came out of the boys room during this investigation. The recorder was left on the dresser to the left and within a few minutes their was one right after one another. The room is not very large as you can see and whatever it is is very elusive but somehow or someway I feel that it knew very well my reasons for placing the recorder as it watched quitely.

This is the second area a recorder was placed. It is a small crawl space in the laundry room that goes a few feet back. If I took a few steps back to my left would be the washer and dryer the very same ones which go off for no apparent reasons. I felt a few times of visiting the house something hiding in here why it hides remains unknown but when I placed the recorder opening this space up I felt something here and my hairs stood up on the back of my neck. Despite that fact the bedroom had more activity of the child so perhaps what is in the house moves around a little.
