Mark finally got home from his vacation in Sarasota so we decided to celebrate his homecoming with a nice little investigation of the William Orphanage. We entered the large grounds at about 9pm and although we did not spend much time we had alot of fun exploring it. I could feel a presence here but a very warm one nothing evil nothing uncomfortable not like the Carpenter house i was recently at. We decided to head upstairs first when we arrived upstairs I felt something cold blow past me and moments later I heard a noise in one of the rooms like movement. I really liked this place although it saddened me that the town uses it to store road signs and use to do police drills here so bullet holes are all over the walls. Some of the old furniture still remained I noticed but most of the place was in terrible conditions. Unfortunately the other buildings on site burnt down so we only were able to enter into one building the town has removed all the rest. After spending sometime upstairs we went downstairs entered what look like a administrations area such as there was a desk, chair, old wooden filing cabinet and I felt something here as their was a cold spot in this room. We entered into a second area which had a old chalk board that looked like a giant classroom and attached it had a old wooden bathroom with the old soap still remaining it reminded me of something from Annie or Harry Potter. I liked this place alot it was so calm and so peaceful but very musty inside. I believe that the grounds here are equally as haunted to the orphanage itself is. As we did get ready to leave I did say goodbye and I felt as if I was hugged those who work often will ghost will understand what I mean by this. We did leave the orphanage in peace. I did take a few photos of the outside and Mark took a few of the basketball court hoping to catch a child spirit possibly playing on the court. We then proceeded to go home. I did look at some of the digital photos and of course I took 35mm shots their as well. Mark did get a photo with ectoplasm coming out of the wall and it was near me so that probably explains why I felt so cold going back downstairs. All in all it was a nice little investigation and I'd even go back to this place if I had another chance. It really is a nice little place.
