Stone Tracks

We were not sure which way we should walk since both ways were very foreboding, wooded and hardly any lights. But I decided to walk one way which would lead out near my home so it was more convenient. We started off walking along the tracks and James had some high EMF readings it did not last but as if something passed by us real quick.

We also heard a growl although I believe it was a dog at one of the houses nearby. Alot of these local people leave there dogs out all night long and are very paranoid. We started our walk down the tracks they were in tact but the second set of tracks was disassembled and rails were laying all around. The high weeds in certain areas made the tracks even more eerie.

Although I did not feel as uncomfortable as some tracks I been on you just know that at one time or another people have died back here you can feel it. Much of our walk down the tracks was wooded we crossed various side streets, small shops, wooded paths and of course I jumped when at this one yard some dogs were freaking out they were guard ones and it sounded like one of them was loose and coming up the tracks from afar. But we did not see anything.

We walked about a mile down the tracks and went past a giant propane station not far from my house that probably was the scariest place since propane is very flammable it could probably blow up all of Deland. Many of the areas along the tracks were fenced. We eventually came up behind a warehouse part of the tracks led into it the other part straight on eventually we ended up near my house and the tracks dead ended. But you could tell at one time they ran farther through and this probably explains how in the Deland history the tracks that ran near painters park at one time. So if they kept on it would lead you to there.

We did not have alot of activity but over time we will conduct a second investigation probably end up walking the other direction which is a little more rural and eerie. The tracks from what I gathered are hardly in use if they even use them at all. Many of the weeds were very high and there was no fresh oil spots on the stones which tells me there has not been any train activity for awhile. But all the more reasons for a ghost or two to wander these tracks at night.

Peace,
Rick
