Tonight was a very special investigation brought to you on this gloomy Sunday. James and I set off a little later then usual after all day it was lightening out and finally it cleared up so a perfect night for
ghost busting. It definitely was a strange evening and a very long investigation as we spent quite sometime tonight exploring a fairly large place as well as beautiful. I never realized how far back, large or how many areas there were to explore till I actually was off exploring it tonight.
I do want to apologize for not getting the investigation done the last two nights however both nights I dozed off so thankfully tonight I was wide awake and rearing for some supernatural activity. We headed off on foot since once again the church's history ties in a little bit to the history of my residence today. So with
tonight's investigation keep in mind there is going to be a rich history involved here making this last past 100 years full of many different energies. So take a walk with us as we walk through the gardens, school, church and other establishments of St. Barnabas Church & School. This place reminds me of a little town of houses with stained glass truly an
awesome investigation tonight.
St. Barnabas Church & School
We approached the corner and took a photo of the sign. We were not sure were to go since there was many buildings on site most attached or with various walkways leading to various gardens, courtyards, plaques, doorways etc... We came across a headstone in front of a fountain. The fountain was running then we headed off to memory garden.
We opened the rod iron gate and see a giant possum James was stunned he said look at that giant rat dad. I just chased it and sorry folks was close to getting it on film but missed it by a hair. I must be either getting old or just amazed at how much wild life I see going out on each investigation lately. We did enter the memory gardens.
The memory gardens intrigued me as it was set up with a tea table and chairs, stone benches, flowers, statue, and various memorials. It really is pretty and quite a large area. But there are mixed feelings here as if we are not alone. I am very perceptive whenever I walk into a place and this is just one place you know something is there just watching. The area was enclosed by foliage, a building and brick wall. So it was quite secluded. I hugged a statue after that the area became cold.
We then walked through another set of gates came out to a kindergarten building and also took some photos of the
Canterbury house. We then headed on over to the school and walked out into a playground. It was very dark but there were basketball courts as well. We did not sense to much here but we still explored then decided to head on over to the school.
The school was different much more lit up, a couple long halls with two floors, and quite modernized aside from the other buildings. There was a little yard with benches and we went up some steps that were dark leading upstairs. This is where things became interesting we walked down a long hall it was cool in some areas and James mentioned a boy was standing there just watching at us. He seemed a little startled as he mentioned that he did not like it up here. I felt a
presence here also. He also seen a shadow man running off. The ghost at this point seemed curious but of course kept there distance just like most of our investigations we do our first time. We walked behind the school as well found a park area with picnic benches a shelter, sheds and James said something was watching us he would not go back with me to an area that was pitch dark.
We went back down stairs and left the school and visited the fountain again. This time the fountain was shut off quite eerie indeed as minutes before it was running spraying water and now nothing. This to me was just another sign something was here. We then walked up a ramp and visited various offices followed by another yard surrounded by the library, music room, pre-k, and other various doors leading to a variety of rooms. We walked around took some photos in one of the halls it was ice cold.
Again this time we went out to memory gardens I wanted to see if the activity
was higher and this time it was. James seen another child and figure on the run. Apparently the entities knew were here. This time around I felt more watched. It was nice though to just stand there watch and listen. We walked back this time to the playground and through a gate. There was a bus James and I hopped on. Inside the bus was quite cold. We had fun pretending to drive. James went out in front of the bus to take a photo and the door in back of the bus slammed very hard. At this point since there was no wind and at the force it slammed I felt something was trapped inside on the bus with me as James was outside looking at me. I got off the bus and was looking at something and James told me a child was on that bus looking out at us. So then that validated what happened to me James had no clue the back door on the bus closed on me. We then took a few more photos and again walked around the school some more.
At this point things calmed down we visited a few buildings that ran far off in the back down a long walkway which led to a series of offices, apartments, a small house like quarters with a painting on the wall, and green house of some kind. This area was well lit I had even a motion light turn on in my face that was not very pleasant.
We then went back to the memory gardens for one last visit James closed the gate and somehow it opened on its own perhaps not latched all the way. But it startled us a little perhaps thinking someone was in the area at first. Since a car was parked out front so we had to be cautious. We did end up finishing off the investigation making our way to the front of the church admiring the small old wood doors at each of the connected buildings.
On my way there a giant spider crawled up my arm I was lucky not to get
bit by it. A young lady and man walked past us and she said hello to me. We were just getting done wrapping up around the
ministry house and then we headed home after a splendid investigation which will be divided into two parts the one tonight and next one months from now.
In conclusion to tonight's report I got what I suspected which was children ghost haunting the property. There was not that much activity but there were some moving ice cold spots, James seen around four ghost in areas that were cold and we did feel watched.
The whole church is really amazing you got so much to explore there is two to three playgrounds, a school, a few houses, a
chapel, the rectory, apartments, offices, sheds, and the list goes on and on. There is many twist and turns its quite a large area you just never know what you will see here walking in the dark.
But the investigation was a success and I cannot wait for a return visit. There were just little things that occurred here to make your mind wander but once you read the history and learn a little more on this place you will understand that the supernatural area is very much alive and all brought to you by The Paranormal & Ghost Society.
Lastly I would like to say shame on those who refuse to investigate this is such a learning opportunity. If my son can do this an adult can do this seriously especially for the more tedious places. It is nice having James come along because he sees ghost as clear as you would see a person. Being that age is so wonderful because your so open an accepting towards what we as adults have forgotten or shut out.
Peace,
Rick
