St Joseph's Cemetery
Jim drove us around during the day so I could take a few photos and get an idea of how large this cemetery is. He showed me some of the mausoleums, veterans area, some crypts, and went down some other roads. We spent about a half hour driving around, getting out for a couple pictures.
Then later on at night Liz and I ventured to the cemetery. We could not stay here long because we had arrangements to visit other locations that night. This is the type of cemetery that you could spend 3 hours alone just walking around looking at stones and hiking around in.
We hiked up a very steep hill to the older section of the cemetery took some crypt photos, then a circular stone area, and a few statues. There was one grave that was made into a set of stairs, a gazebo that had 2 burials, and even a giant wall where a whole family was buried. I did not get many ghostly photos till I was about to leave. I captured 2 near a crypt, 3 near some stone steps, and about 4 near the gates and I could actually see it moving closer to me each photo that I took it was quite interesting. It is like all the spirits from the cemetery had to take that one last look before I left.
The only regret here is that I am going to miss this place in a short time I grew attached to it greatly maybe its how beautiful and large this is or perhaps it is because some of the ghost I started to feel out here. I wish we were able to visit here a few more times most large cemeteries are hard to capture entities because of the size but here I absolutely had no problems with.
Upon leaving the cemetery we got stuck in a thick pile of wet leaves and grass. We were lucky 2 trucks stopped and got a chain and pulled us out of there because it was sleeting out really hard. Unfortunately Liz cracked her bumper but at least we did not spend the night there. Then after the ordeal we headed out to the very eerie Spring Creek Cemetery.
