Sorrento Cemetery

On the way here we stopped at another 7-Eleven once again no jumbo hotdogs lol but the Mexican Restaurant across the street was closing. Andrew used the rest room I was out in the truck pulling needles out of my skin and hiking boots.

A hooker walked slowly past my car staring at me I was like thinking please do not come up to me I was just not in the mood at this point to deal with anything.

Their was some sleazy hotel behind us and I thought hurry up Andrew this girl was like giving me the look like hey big boy are you the new man in town lol. Andrew came out and we took on off she just kept watching us I was like lets get the hell out of here lets face it this was no me love you long time girl.

We went down a few country roads and passed this house it was very decorated. The only reason I stopped is Andrew thought he had seen a cemetery. So I did U-Turn parked in front of the house. We walked up turned out it was a house that sat far back with a lot of lawn decor but it was all dark and looked like a cemetery.

The house next to it was all lit up their was lit Xmas trees, Snow man, Candy Canes, Santa and reindeer on the roof, lights all over, decorations, lawn displays etc I mean we thought to ourselves this guy must be in competition with the neighbor or what did  he say hey honey I got an extra 1000 dollars this month lets run up the electric bill.

I took a few photos the property was so well lit I did not figure it would hurt a thing as long as we stayed behind the fence. Well apparently it did cause an old very hostile old person came running out of the house in their underwear chasing Andrew and I. We ran to the truck and took off hahaha. Anybody that is up at that time is up to no good or who is that paranoid is hiding something. I been doing this work for a long time you just know when someone gets angry over you taking photos of there holiday display they got issues.

Their is no point in putting up such a beautiful display if people cannot enjoy it but see that is why I have no respect down here in FL for its people. Cause in NY the NYers put up Xmas lights etc and nobody cares if you take photos or walk down the sidewalk to look at them down here grandpa Joe comes out in his shot gun and thinks your their to cash in on his crop or something.

We drove off and headed down a dirt road which dead ended right in the woods at this cemetery.

I did not spend a lot of time in the cemetery their was a ranch nearby did not want to disturb anybody. Dealing with one old coot for the night was good enough for me. I faced the truck towards the gate in case we had to get out of here fast too. Andrew smoked a cigarette outside while I ran off to take some photos.

I went to this gazebo had a listing of everybody buried here. The graves were very spread out and this place was pretty eerie compared to other recent cemeteries I been to. I went towards the woods something was moving around in the back of the cemetery.

I took a few photos mainly of older stones here and then ran back up to the front entrance. It was really windy in the cemetery for some reason maybe cause it was such a large open area.

There was one upper burial stone but this was not a fancy cemetery like I expected. Not sure if I got ghostly photos but it is a fairly historic cemetery to this area. I also felt a few rain drops thought to myself damn cause we still had one very large last place to venture into before the night was done.

We started to head on off and the rain started to intensify as we headed off to Rock Springs & Cavern.
