Oakwood Resthaven Cemetery

We approached this cemetery and before even getting their we were quite amazed by its beauty. As many fancy and tall monuments were visible across the rod iron. The stone pillars made this place more inviting as we entered inside. Of course there was a sign with all the rules of the cemetery like they couldn't rub it in more. The chapel here did catch my eye first. It was a miniature chapel very pleasant. What was strange about this cemetery is on the west and east ends the stones were new and up the very center all the way up to the crematory are older stones dating back 150 years ago.

When we first walked around I could not help it so I decided to talk to the deceased and before I knew it within moments I felt embraced but a friendly cold one. At this point I was getting excited and wandered far away from the guys coming across some of the most pretty stones I have seen in awhile. Eventually when walking Jason caught up to me and I heard some whistling like something was carrying a tune. Seemed like the cemetery was becoming alive. I then came around a corner and found the only crypt and the soldier stones which are said to be here. Mark ran to tell me something touched his arm he was pretty excited. As I was taking photos of the crypt Jason and Mark told me they seen a fireball high up I was upset I missed it and it could have been a meteor or orb based on my speculation. Eventually we made our way to the castle llike crematorium.. From the back of this cemetery we could no longer see the van, stores or even road so I knew we were fairly deep inside.

We then proceeded back to the front of the cemetery doing a very slow walk.  Mark said he seen a dark shadow I myself could feel a coldness as we were heading back. Their was no wind out tonight or anything yet it constantly felt chilly. We came to the front to take a few more photos and found a freshly buried grave. Their was flowers and ribbons on the fresh dirt and a new stone. This of course always makes you sad knowing that someone was probably just buried a day ago.  We then headed on out and wrapped up our investigation here. This was an absolutely gorgeous cemetery the big stone crosses, monuments, stones with engravings made it one of the more pleasant investigations.

All in all we had a pretty busy but fun night. We had experienced a lot of activity noises, cold spots, movement etc we also realized how chilly it has gotten recently so finding cold spots will get more difficult as it always does in the cooler seasons. We are very happy to wrap up the college finally an we were able to get everything done in pretty good timing. I would like to thank Mark for coming out despite he has to get up at 6am hard work and devotion pay off in the end. Ya know doing these investigations and dealing with ghost you learn to appreciate life a lot more because you know that in the spirit world you don't have the luxuries as in the physical one. Such as eating or feeling a warm hug. Tonight when driving home I went a little past the crosswalk when driving lucky for me a car going like 70 miles an hour through the intersection just pasted as I crossed past the light. When something like that occurs and your so close to being in an accident or you hear a ghost trying to get your attention by knocking you really learn to appreciate the friends and members you have supporting you in your quest for the truth.
