Many folks been waiting for reports on some places I been checking out in the Florida area. With the move I am of course physically drained when you investigate, move into a new place, and try to get established it sure can be more challenging I found then dealing with some ghosts haha. But our first Florida investigations were done almost 2 weeks ago in 3 places Oakdale Cemetery, Stetson University and to finish of the night the very haunted Athens Movie Theatre.
I did realize that this would be a special investigation as it was my first in the Florida area and it was a great way for me to spend time in a unknown area which doing what I enjoy best which is working with the deceased. I noticed from this investigation that the entities appear a little differently then up north and to a point they act a little different there more hospitable but of course this is the south. But
there energy is not as strong like in other haunted areas. But I wanted to bring a nice starter investigation as a grand opening here and all 3 places turned out to be memorable. The first place we visited was Oakdale Cemetery.
Oakdale Cemetery
This cemetery was very large I did know which end to cross since a street splits it in half and its very thick with palm trees and sand hills that its pretty eerie in the dark. I took James along here to help me out here and I parked right in the cemetery. Right away James said a man and a boy stood near a stone staring at me smiling. He said they told him they are glad to see us. So no doubt that the ghost would be curious since this is a cemetery that has had little or no attention when it comes to the field of parapsychology.
We walked very deep in the cemetery it felt so nice here I could have walked barefoot in the sand hills that run
throughout this place. There was no fancy type of stones many were a long flat stone something I never seen up in NY. But we walked a little ways and something seemed to bother James here more so then other places. I felt very watched and I felt the whole cemetery was alive just watching us walking around. We were on the older side at first so naturally there would be many different types of ghost from a time that was relevant into shaping the history of the area.
We covered alot of areas did not get alot of ghostly photos maybe 2 back to back in this one area and with my eyes I could see the
Ecto just vanish. I also noticed that later on James seen a lady literally following us as we walked back to the car. I told him to talk to her and she told him she was raped rather he told me she was hung to death and that she was scared. He said that the lady floated off the ground and she would not approach. But after working a little bit with this entity I was able to get her energy to show around James so she did post with him and you will see the photo of him surrounded as I told her its okay to approach us.
I arrived back at the car and Christi seen Ecto hovering near the vehicle while I was away she said it was just slowly moving around the trees probably watching her by the car. We then proceeded across the street to a newer area with lots of mausoleums.
This area was not as hilly let alone eerie I did not feel anything here but I did get some nice shots on occasion. James seen a pirate following us down a walkway he looked back and sort of hustled lol. I would believe it
pirates, captains, men who go down with there ships are not uncommon being we are so close to St.
Augustine's the oldest city in the nation. So yea pirate ghost are really not that far fetched. I did not find this ghost cooperative but at least James sensed it and I became very cold so I know something was there.
We wrapped up the investigation as I may come back here another time so for a first visit it went well. Was this a special investigation you bet this has to be one of the most eerie cemeteries I ever been to and sometimes we take things lightly and things are not what they appear to seem as during the day it looks peaceful but at night footsteps, ecto on the move and apparitions are not uncommon. Then I headed over to Stetson University.
