Subj: [ParanormalFlorida] Tonight's Investigation Reports...   Date: 10/23/2004 1:01:03 AM Eastern Daylight Time  From: AngelOfThyNight@aol.com   To: ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com,  paranormalghostsociety@yahoogroups.com,  Paranormalflorida@yahoogroups.com,  ParanormalGhostSociety@groups.msn.com   With Biketoberfest going on tonight was a very active night for people rather then paranormal as many bikes were out and people were drinking merry at some of the local pubs. So rather set my expectations higher I did what we would call a preliminary investigation where I could walk around get a psychic view on the two areas.  Both areas I have worked with previously but did not investigate them but they were areas I visited when I first moved to the area so I was pretty excited tonight to get on in there and take my time on this beautiful night. The two places we investigated were the New Volusia County Courthouse and The Lankford Funeral Home both with perhaps mixed feelings and a lot of energy. I started off on a nice little moonlit walk in downtown historical DeLand and so my investigation begins here. **NEW** Volusia County Courthouse It took awhile for activity to pick up here as I approached the long walkway leading to the courthouse.  I did not feel anything out of the ordinary however when I was about half way down the walkway the batteries died out on my EMF detector. It was just so sudden and I did not bring any back up batteries for it so at this point I had to strictly go on senses. The first thing however I did was walked up to the tower to take some photos. At night they keep the courtyard locked it reminds me more of a fortress there is no way in at all. During the day you even have to go through metal detectors just to visit the courtyard. I spent a lot of time walking around just to get a general idea of the type of activity goes on here at night so that my second investigation becomes more interesting.  I walked around the side of the building a few times and noticed in the flash a group of orbs traveling at a pretty high speed about 30 feet above me. It was almost like a brief second they stood still just for that photo. Quite interesting to be able to see the orbs so at this point I knew that the activity here was picking up or rather warming up to my presence.  I then focused on an area with a very old tree. This tree has been eating away at me for months you will understand when you see the photos. There is just a lot of energy and feelings of being watched. I cannot pinpoint it but I spent a lot of time walking around the tree studying it and trying to figure out what this tree has to do with the ghost that roam the area.  After awhile I took a little stroll walked around this massive courthouse and peaked into the parking garage. It was apparent some cars were still here so some were staying after-hours maybe janitors or security. I then came around and walked right down into a big valley. Standing in the valley made everything look so much bigger and it was obvious that this courthouse stood on a hill. I started to smell incense or a cedar type of odor in the air for a while. Eventually when I arrived back at the front entrance I studied the tower in the front for a while and worked with the entities that were there. I must had stirred up activity because the orb activity above me was fairly high also very responsive to what I had to say. I did however notice one thing on the many walkthroughs in front of the tower was the fact it was icy cold in this area. I did not want to get selfish to I moved on to a walk way in a very dark area full of many trees.  When I took the path something had bothered me a little it was the fact that almost all the trees that had grown along the path seemed to take on manifestations for example one tree looked like a hand, another one grew twisted, then another had giant tumors growing out of it. All the trees looked like something out of a horror movie and perhaps at one time or another something did happen along this area. I then walked on over to the Lankford Funeral Home to investigate my second place for the night.
