Subj: [ParanormalFlorida] Last Night's Investigation Report Date: 5/22/2005 7:02:58 PM Eastern Daylight Time From: AngelOfThyNight@aol.com To: ParanormalBuffalo@yahoogroups.com, paranormalghostsociety@yahoogroups.com, Paranormalflorida@yahoogroups.com, ParanormalGhostSociety@groups.msn.com CC: rasolas@gmail.com, parapackboy@hotmail.com Mt. Arat Burial Park (Daytona Memorial Park) The Spanish architecture of the mausoleum really cause our eyes upon walking in here. We got a little muddy on the ground cause it just rained but soon forgot about that when walking along this wall that went for a couple hundred feet. Nothing but people were buried within this wall. Their was a morbid feeling here and off in the distance I could see a very Greek type of building which to me looked like a temple. We started heading down the hill and heard wind chimes the strange thing was that they were moving as if something was carrying them around. They started off in front of us then behind very eerie really. We pushed on and walked down the hill towards a giant pond with crypts circling all the way around it and these giant globe lights which inlined the walkways. Aaron said he felt sick to his stomach and not wanted here he also felt something touch him physically on the back. But eventually we took some photos and walked on over to this temple like building. Their was a giant fountain with lion heads on it. The columns were so huge and the floor in here was made of marble. It turns out that it was a mausoleum but still very elegant looking. We were trying to talk like Ares from the God Of War Video game cause it sounded so cool hearing it echo inside this structure haha. We walked back to the pond and found a dirt road which led into the woods. As you know we almost have to go into the woods whenever we see them near by lol. I felt the woods to be a little more uncomfortable like something was hiding that we could not see. I kept picturing maybe a face watching us in the brush. We eventually walked around the pond as Aaron was catching tons of frogs and we came across two very large geese. Cory went up to one and hissed back at it. Then one of them stood up on its hind legs and spread its wings it attacked haha. The bird came inches from biting Cory and I was laughing so hard I could not even get a photo. But I did manage to capture one with the bird and him face to face. We eventually took one of the roads which led us to a prayer area and some statues. Their was even a Zen garden, bridges, little streams and ponds. Their were some graves surrounding these gardens. They were much different then the 100s of flat stones we encountered when we first entered the cemetery. We took some photos in the gardens and their was some energy here it was very vibrant. We pretty much tried to have some fun here loosen up since we had a long night ahead of us. We then left and went back into Cedar Hill Cemetery where we jogged back to the car picked up our equipment leaving to our next destination which was Daytona Greenwood Cemetery. |
