Mayville Hanging Grounds

This place was pretty hard to find since the directions were wrong. But I managed to look up upon stopping at a gas station to look for directions and what do you know I found it way up on the hill so we got pretty lucky. We drove all the way up the high hill and parked.

Then again we ran through very deep snow Mark just about fell the wind chill was really brutal. Our main goal though was to find the area where the hangings use to take place. Since a building was built and the trees were cut down in the area for the football field this was going to be a really tough investigation to pinpoint where the activity was going to be. 

We encountered a playground nearby and this was close enough to where the hangings took place so we focused mainly around here. Mark seen some ectoplasm high up above. I kept hearing a rope and other odd sounds like mumbles, voices, movement things of that sort.� I felt kind of watched back here and this had to be one of the eeriest playgrounds I ever visited. It almost felt like the ghost were playing in the playground as Mark captured an apparition swinging on the jungle gym.� It was interesting here I will say that. It was hard to pinpoint where these hangings took place but the playground seemed to be most active as I did not get ghostly photos anywhere but in this area. 

Again after brutally losing feel in our hands even with my gloves on we had to get out of here and warm up. We headed down the hill in the snow I tumbled forward and it was fun. But we had to focus on our next destination which was the very haunted Chautauqua Belle Steamboat.
