Lancaster Ghost Engine
I always had a fascination with trains, engines, cabooses so I decided to take a quick stop. For a few months it was ailing me to just take a few photos and see if i could make an investigation out of it so that we did last night. We walked into the field, through some brush and up onto the tracks where the older freight train engine and double length box car were parked. This engine gives me bad vibes I always feel as if something is living inside it but regardless Jason and I always try and have fun. So we both climbed to the top, I climbed in the front, and we explored the cabin area, the engines itself and basically we explored the whole engine for anything ghostly in nature. We did not find much although when I looked in the boxcar I did take a photo and got a mans face he did not look happy. This is not the first time we have visited this engine last time I was here the cabin area felt cooler then normal so this is one reason why we came back to get in some photography of it and the tracks surrounding the area. After our fun of climbing the front of it, standing on top, looking at all the gauges that an engineer has to use, we decided to head on out and wrap up the night.
The night turned out pretty good we managed to get 4 new places investigated. I took alot of digital photography last night and some 35 mm so did Jason. I will try and post the digital photos in the next few days and in a few months Ill add the 35 mm shots taken from these places. Jason should have his in much sooner since I am so far behind in film. Also next week we may have a nice little trip planned at a house in the woods that is haunted for anybody who is interested in joining our quest into the unknown. We will be very busy in a couple more weeks and some pretty big places are coming up soon so we are always looking for someone who can bring something to our team.

I decided on night #2 to finish off these old unused tracks so Sarah and I decided to take a walk towards the opposite end. I had been wanting to check some old train cargo cars and steam locomotive. I climbed up into the locomotive after a fairly high climb lucky for me I did not fall because it was pretty tough getting up there and even coming down since my shoe lace got caught on a nail lol. Upon being inside the old locomotive I noticed all of sudden it got very cold it was almost in an instant. The coal car doors were jammed so I could not open them however the furnace door was wide open. This was pretty neat more then haunted to sit in a little room with a giant engine. There was even a hatch in the roof and a window on each side. After awhile I decided to climb back down and work my way over to Car#1.
Cargo Car #1 was not to far from the old locomotive. I climbed on up and went inside. This cargo car seemed very old and there was alot of tools inside mainly wood, some shelves, a lawn mower. I did not like this cargo car much. I heard footsteps coming towards me then they stopped. I walked the full length of them and it reminded me sort of like a movie where the stowaways hide in the wooden crates. I felt some coldness inside and did not feel alone. It seems perhaps that it has been quite sometime since anybody has been inside this cargo car. Then we headed off to Cargo Car #2.
Cargo Car #2 does not even seem to be on the tracks and is parked in some high brush. This car had alot of organized tools, shelves and was used for storage perhaps for the factory near by. Although rather in my belief such old cars should be in a train museum or still should be used. I admired the lights on the ceiling and there was a switch I believe to turn them on however it
wouldn't be good for the ghost who perhaps lay rest in these old cars. I did not stay inside very long but took a few photos and left.
I love old trains and usually with older trains there is many ghost stories that go with them. By the looks of the digital photos I took I did get something in a couple photos. But all that remains is a ghost on the past as the old locomotive, and cargo cars sit there aging in the weather. We did get some activity the cold spots and the footsteps gave me some validation that something or someone haunts these trains and its tracks.
