Last night we went to one place and one place only but unlike the rest this investigation was large and would keep me fairly satisfied with producing good results. We never know if a place is haunted till we search and explore it. Most places have energy of the past perhaps even of the present. I like to bridge the two worlds as to one that is why I am a ghostbuster to some ghost they are Lordbusters hahaha so we can only hope for when we see good activity we also gather it for our fans...members...and even the curious.
 
Last nights investigation took place the Lake Mead Hoover Dam Railroad Tunnels. It sits outside of Vegas over the mountains and in an area with miles of desert, mountains, canyons and lake shore. Its a huge investigation for us in the fact of the historical area we were visiting.
 
I did not have anybody volunteer to go so my son came along. He is still by far one of the best paranormal investigators I have and have had for many years. I know I make myself sound old but honestly ladies I am hot well at least the women I been told that 5 times this week....but hotness my friends does not matter to an entity do you know why? Cause all of that is irrelevant just as toking up in a cemetery or trespassing into an abandonment. What is relevant is whether their is a world before our eyes some of us never take notice to. I am here to provide you with that so that you do notice!
 
Last night would be held with anticipation and excitement as the moon was bright and the Perseid Meteor shower was also very strong. So not only would I be paranormal investigating but also enjoying the universe above and so I give to you the....
 
 
Lake Mead Hoover Dam Railroad Tunnels
 
This was a good jaunt as we had to revisit an area I visited a couple weeks ago or near it. I stopped at some no name gas station bought me an ice cold lager....it was a tall boy...but you cannot go hiking without one and well since I was wishing I rewarded myself with anticipation of a long, hot, crazy hike.
 
I filled up some gas not that it does any good tank is empty this morning ha. Then James and myself went off into the desert. We did not get a good radio signal but played some good hard rock. I was the only one driving in the desert.
 
After awhile everything looks the same canyons, rock formations, dry brush in the vast desert...its dark and easy to get turned around. I approached the lake mead recreational area made a right down a road ended up in Henderson had to turn all the way around and then I started seeing signs for harbors.
 
 I found a pull of area the first one was connected to where we had to go but like 15 miles away James is like yeah dad lets hike 10 miles. I was like ummm no son let me tell you the story that happened to me two weeks ago as I was a nomad in the Mojave ha. So I got back on the road drove another 10 miles it was nothing but silence. I was lucky to have found this place I was about to turn around when I drove a few hundred feet and was like shouting out my window when I found it lol. James was like are there aliens dad.
 
We pulled on off some guy and girl were talking. Now I do not know about you but if I am going to park in seclusion I am going to get busy whether its with the girl I am with or seeking on them ghost. In this case last night I was after the ghost obviously and that ice cold beer in my back pack also.
 
I read the kiosk I am all confused there is like three trails going in all different directions its like wtf. That is why I get lost out in the desert everything looks the same...one bush looks like the next its not like California you have landmarks.  I came across a wood tunnel tried to crawl in it and a black window tried to attack me hahaha I had to have James shoot the photo quick man.
 
So I walked up a ways towards the main road found a trail that was narrow and cut right in the middle of the desert. To my right over a mountain was a casino all by its lonesome flag bowling I was like son lets hike there put my 3 dollars I have left and roll the dice what do you say. He says I rather have a slurpy from 711 and I said fine we get done with this I am buying a burger dog too.
 
So we hiked onward I am singing and crap yeah goofing off have to amuse myself. We get up to this giant fence its barely open and a hobo was hiding in the corner. His dog started to freak out I shined the light in its eyes gave him a good look down and kept walking. Wanted to make sure to let him know that I am an overlord if you mess with my boy lol. We hiked past him no problems it was dark out every star visible.
 
At times there were huge rock formations to the right of us...some on hills...some on ridged mountains. We stayed on the trail for the most part except for a few photos I took. We walked a ways the gate disappeared and soon the eeriness started to set in. We seen a bright object in the sky....it hovered for awhile then it moved on very odd very bright plane who knows but it hovering kind of was odd. James seen a red object over our head and I seen another object move then stop.
 
Aside from that it took awhile but we also started seeing meteors in the sky some lasted a long time. James spotted more then I did since I had to keep an eye out for big horned, mountain lions and those green men. James at first did not like this place he was like ranting on about how zombies do not sound so scary compared to him going to outerspace. I did I asked him how he felt about us viewing the shower from space he is like man I should be playing runescape.
 
We came up to a giant cut in the mountain no tunnel here but they probably figured years ago that would be easier and instead they designed a series of tunnels for the trains to reach Hoover Dam for construction. The tracks were no longer here we noticed just a trail for a few miles.
 
To our left the drop off became higher and the ledge became steeper. I went up to the edge a few times to shine my light down. I found a way to go over the edge without getting hurt much if we had to make a quick escape. To our left we could see the moon reflecting off the water dimly.
 
We seen a harbor way off we were on the side of a ridge/mountain almost near the peaks. So the harbor was hundreds of feet below us perhaps a half mile away. It was pretty and we seen a car that looked like an ant on the twisting winding road below us.
 
We kept on with the hike I took a very rough trail to the right up the side of one of the mountains but we turned around. I just wanted to see where it went and the answer is who knows. We seen a few benches just before we approached the giant tunnel.
 
Not sure which tunnel this one was the trail had many but it would be for us tunnel 1.  The cathedral ceiling was high up. I did not enter the tunnel till I gathered photos. James and I heard in addition to bats voices and even as much as some static type of radio like sound. My voice echoed in the tunnel then I started to walk in. At one end of it wood beams gave the tunnel more support. This tunnel was no big deal nicely carved right into the mountain.
 
We hiked some more drop off to the left rocks and peaks to our right and the trail twisted. To our left we could see cliffs and beginning structures of Hoover Dam. The water looked black as night but the cliffs along that water lit up like a xmas tree under the stars.
 
We arrived to our second tunnel and half way in it I sat down. I had James make a video which will possibly go on our site or youtube. As I said video will occur more in PGS's future. I drank my beer this was a good spot not dusty like the first tunnel which creates dust particle photos.
 
I did some EVP's....drank my lager like no tomorrow man was thirsty. I learned my lesson though this time I brought a gallon of water and extra lighting lol. We sat in the tunnel listening...watching and waiting. I heard a mechanical sound almost sound like a train coming to a stop weird I know but that is what we do work with the weird.
 
James mellowed out but even sitting we at times hear unrecognizable sounds. We seen also an odd reflector on the tunnel entrance brim. We had some moths flying around us and we took a long break. I was able to study the walls inside the tunnel to which sadly are crumbling from years of deterioration trust me I know I wanted a souvenir rock.
 
We arrived at tunnel three I decided we would go no further I believe this tunnel was burned not sure but I seen a few black rocks inside. Again I sat down this time on a rock did another video smoked a cigar and just chilled. It would be a long hike back to the car as we were at least two miles away.
 
Our hike back was amazing we seen so many meteors I made my wishes and we sat on a bench again I was wet from the heat. I spotted about 4 meteors then we left for the car. When I got back into tunnel one thousands of bats flew over us swarms of them. It was crazy and yeah they crapped on us to I felt bat crap hitting in me in the arms...guano! It happens part of being outdoors good thing this was not a date with some hot girl with my pants down trust me not the type of place to have romance lol.
 
After getting crapped on the burger dog sounded good to me I was in a crappy mood...hungry...thirsty...seeing pirate songs...the lager was 9 percent by volume so yeah I did not care if the aliens probed my ass because I wouldn't feel a goddamn thing lol.......on the way back my son held my hand he was like dad I hate heights and do not want you going over the cliff so I worry....but in reality it was not a cliff just a steep incline for a few hundred feet to the next mountain ridge and well since two weeks ago I slid down one like that I had it all panned out lol. Rule number so and so always make an emergency escape route if that mountain lion is hungry make him work for it!
 
So we past the gates hobo gone and my light reached some reflectors very far off which was the parking area. The trail split I wanted to take a short cut so we cut right through the desert snakes....spiders....who knows what else but not really. My son teased me all night making snake sounds and in reality I have not seen one goddamn snake in the desert yet man it makes me mad. I want a good photo of a snake coming at me pssssst baby ha.
 
So yeah we made it back to the car drank the rest of our water supply then it was over a 30 mile trip back home through boulder city, Henderson area...and into Vegas all the way downtown and off to north. It was not a nice drive I had a cop get up my ass then he backed off got off at the exit. I was more worried about the radar detector being seen or the fact that I did not have my seat belt on shame on me I know but look the Subaru I treat like a lady and she gets me where I got to go. I am just such a bad boy huh?
 
It was 4am we walked into 711 made it there James got his slurpy and me I got that burger dog I ate that thing in like 12 seconds I am serious. Then we drove on home. James told me it has been the best hike he has ever done and one of the funnest. He has never seen a meteor shower like this one and its been a long time since I seen one that clear and good.
 
It turned out to be a good investigation I took ALOT of photos, EVPs, my son took EMF readings at various locations. One of the tunnels we experienced high EMF readings. We did some good work last night my only  I have to say I heard things I cannot explain just a lot of different little pieces of activity that we may never know what the answers are to.
 
So I arrived home woke up this morning did not care what the world thought went out in pajama bottoms. It was crazy but man I still am feeling the hike from last night. Its not as bad to hike at night but the desert is very exhausting to traverse threw.
 
This was a nice exploration and investigation hope to get the video up in the near future!  Just another great Las Vegas excursion into exclusion! I would on another note like to see others get involved with our para adventures some of these trips we do our one time journeys. I cannot wait to put this adventure onto our site trust me its a good one! Even though I got photos being there will always be the more beautiful sight!
