Lake Helen & Royal Park
It was getting pretty late and we were still out and about but we had one more area to investigate which was Lake Helen. When you read about the history of the lake it really ties into the whole area and has a quite interesting past.
Lee and I drove around the lake just once scoping it out seeing where we could park and walk to conduct our investigation.
The first area was Royal Park which had a monument, picnic shelter, few benches, and podium type of area perhaps for town events. We could hear a rooster off in the distance and hell the sun hadn't even come up yet.
The park was very peaceful there was a gentle fog on the lake. There was no major paranormal activity just that near the monument there was alot of cold spot activity it was obvious that to the entity it held some significance.
We walked along the shore again having to be careful of any gators I mean this is Florida you just do not know. We found some geese I took a photo but they swam out towards the water. No gators got them so I guess at that point it was safe to say we were okay.
We got back in the car drove to another section of the lake to an area with a stone table and benches. Oddly there was a giant coquina rock which Lee stood on. Maybe a part of history? We took some photos and then
we moved on to an area where the first cabin, church, post office and meeting all stood near.
We parked the vehicle and walked up a road which goes in a U-like loop. A house which is haunted and still has part of the remaining 1860s structure had gates in front and a
beware of dog warning so we could not get in close for a photo.
But we did walk the road and some parts of it were very dark. Many of the houses on this road had lights on, people talking etc for 5am it was quite an active little neighborhood. Eventually though we ended up near an inlet along the lake with some pilings exposed out of the water. Maybe its an old dock or maybe a dock that just was flooded from all the hurricane rains we had.
The one part of the road was very dark and foreboding. You could feel the ghost on this road and near the lake although quiet I could have took ghost photos with my eyes closed here or even had a toddler take the
Ectoplasmic shots here. There was alot of energy the area was old has alot of history right near this road.
Eventually as we almost made it out a drunk driver came speeding past us he was not driving very straight and had is internal light on. He stopped at three different houses before he found his. That is pretty bad and quite ashamed to see such idiots on the road. If they cannot find there house how the hell do they know who they might possibly kill? So yes as you can see there are always dangers to investigating roads and such at night.
We closed off the investigations of Lake Helen and it seemed to be an interesting little ghost walk we had.
In conclusion to last night's investigation we really excelled in all areas. Lee took EVP in parts of Cassadaga, between us both we took alot of photos and we covering alot of investigating of the entire area. But it also was a night of many different events from cold spots, to seeing the
silhouette of an apparition, to a creature in the woods, all the way to strange
unexplainable events. But very few can actually say they have investigating such a interesting area like Cassadaga with the two tailed Comet Macholz overheard.
We may or may not make return trips back The Cassadaga Lake Helen Cemetery, Meyers & Medicine Wheel Park, Horseshoe Park, Spirit Pond & Mae Graves Gazebo, Colby Temple, Colby Lake Ruins, Suber Memorial Gardens Cemetery & Finally Lake Helen & Royal Park as some of them would be third trips so we shall have to see how it plays out. I truly believe that each area is a paranormal jewel with so many new surprises upon each visit.
I really wished that others had joined us because we really got some nice photos and had alot of
paranormal experiences perhaps accomplished more then any paranormal group in the state here so that says alot. But if you missed out on this trip you will have to suck up up because there is nowhere in this country that is like
Cassadaga. We often get so many folks requesting us to go to Cassadaga and now we have been able to bring you a more in depth story of it as we accomplished more then even our first visits.
With these investigations it should open up whole new doors locally in the area as far as advanced entities go and strange creatures in the woods. Many questions remain unanswered.
Peace,
Rick
