Last night was our special Halloween
Investigation and of course our closing adventure to a great October. We
completed quite a few investigations this month some with very good photos
while others with great history.
Last night we wanted to visit a variety of places to bring you a nice
story just in time for all Hallows Eve. We also had a new investigator his
name is Rich and Lee came on out for the adventure. We visited 5 locations
some of them very well known others with a ghost story or two. Those
locations being LaGrange Church & Cemetery, Space View Park, The
Enchanted Forest, The Cocoa Village Playhouse and to finish off the night
Ashley's Restaurant.
We had a real fun night just getting out touring the sites as we headed on
out to the Titusville and Cocoa Beach area. It was nice to finally have a
full team of investigators and I hope that over the next series of major
investigations and months we continue this trend. We left a little earlier
then usual since we had a long drive and so our adventure begins here.
LaGrange Church & Cemetery
We had a hard time finding this place that is cause
I believe the road we were supposed to take changed names. But we found it
after visiting this really odd gas station. One of those gas stations you
walk in and the clerk just gives you the evil eye lol.
We pulled up and the church was very colonial and the graves surrounded
it. This church has a lot of historical websites covering its past on it.
So I am just intrigued with its eerie look and the fact of how old it is.
I split the team up I felt we would get better activity that way. It
seemed many prominent burials were here in the cemetery including the Mims
family tomb which the town was named after them.
Their was a lot of traffic going back and forth in front of the cemetery
and people out so I could not stay here long. Plus it made it really hard
to focus but we walked around and I led Jason to the oldest section here
which many graves were in poor shape.
I noticed hearing some movement nearby in the older section. Then someone
blew off some fireworks almost right over our heads and that was that.
The cemetery was extremely dark in some places lots of trees here. When we
met up with Lee he mentioned taking a thermal reading that was very warm.
Most of the cemetery was about 63 degrees but this was about 75 degrees so
I thought that was pretty odd.
It seemed the cemetery did not have to much activity but it had an eerie
feeling the church especially. It was a very small church but its one of
these odd ball places too. You will see the photos and understand.
After getting warmed up we headed on off to Space View Park.
