Last night was a really big investigation and a very challenging one if that especially since there was freezing rain I was skating everywhere I walked. Phase 1 of my tribute to WNY is complete and tonight will be phase 2 if I survive because I am exhausted. Mother nature kicked my ass last night. But last night I conquered 4 haunted locations which all turned out to be quite interesting and those places were Holy Mother Of The Rosary Cathedral, Six Flags Darien Lake Amusement Park, Buffalo Naval Park & Ships Investigation 2, and Albright Knox Art Gallery. I spent a considerable amount of time at each place did not get home till the mid morning. I am pretty excited about being able to bring stories on these places. Dreams really do come true and Ill prove that when I release the photos from last nights trip. What makes it even more special is that I investigated these places alone. Anyhow luckily for half of the night the weather up here was warmer just lots of rain and left over snow on the ground. I headed off pretty early in the evening just as the sun went down and so my adventure begins here.
Holy Mother Of The Rosary Cathedral
This place is absolutely gorgeous that is the first thing I wanted to say. I pulled right into it and there were mountains of snow making it hard to see the whole area.
Basically my goal was to walk around the entire cathedral take a few photos and try and draw in any ghostly entities in the area. As Leeza told me about a ghost that is seen on the property I focused mainly on him and it seemed to work quite well as generally I can see the ectoplasm at times.
I walked around the back of the church there was a field, woods far off and since I did not want to get to early I made sure I stayed near the walls of the Cathedral. The back seemed to be more active though. Just the feelings I got you could tell I was not alone. I did not get any EMF readings here which was odd most churches I usually do. But I took my time walked around.
Eventually coming to a area surrounded by walls sort of like a court yard.
That was pretty large but almost closed in so it was pretty dark back in here. I felt watched, very uncomfortable as windows were on every side of me and I knew something was just staring at me. At one one point I felt something go past me like it was trying to get out of there before I took any photos.
I came to the front of the cathedral and was admiring the stained glass and windows high above. I took alot of photos will have to see what comes of it. But basically I ended up back where I started which is the entrance to the Cathedral. When I talked about the farm that use to be there the area seemed to become real active so maybe there is a ghost of a farmer on the property. After that I wanted to capture something near the Mary & Jesus Statue and something near the entrance sign which I achieved both. At one time coming back to the car I looked as if something turned on the light inside. Then I headed off to 6 Flags Darien Lake Amusement Park.
