The entire house was just eerie made of brick almost entirely. All the windows were gone or broke and their was allot of debris scattered amongst the high brush. Tammy and I smelled a skunk in the area to. I never knew the desert had skunks any kind of beasties are rare minus the desert rats, snakes, spiders and bats. Their was a giant stone foundation near the house an attached to the side of the house a wood extension that had no bricks. My guess would be that the house at one time was older and an add on was built to it. I felt but this is my opinion that out of all the sites we visited this past weekend this place had something strange going on. When I locked the car and walked to the back entrance of the house I heard something moving around. Hell maybe it was an animal maybe it was something ghostly. But whatever it was had moved around the property as if it were watching us. Their was also some cold spots the first area we entered was a hallway with a room to our left....and the kitchen to our right. The kitchen had nothing remaining but a jar of fat while the room to our left had a bunch of broken things and clutter. That room connected to the bathroom which was full of cob webs....shit slung all over the walls maybe guano and it was just beyond filth. Their was a master bedroom but it had a homemade bed.....some upside down couches and food wrappers. Their was also a stick of deodorant which are signs that at one time someone squatted here. Then their was the giant den with a fireplace which was fairly empty but had the front door wide open with what appeared to be holes in the door caused by perhaps a gun. Their was also a light fixture which had a bat on it we were curious why this bat hadn't left as it was in the middle of the night. I checked the bat he was alive and breathing. We walked out on the front porch found an old rusted grill.....a giant tree which shaded most of the home.... and a porch held up by tree trunks. This was an old place all overgrown in seclusion. We did not get much activity here but again out of all the places I felt most watched here. Their was no signs anybody had been here in years and I know something was moving around the house. Kind of spooky when you go into a house and you hear something outside of it moving around casing it. I would think that abandoned houses in the city would be in worst condition but sadly not always this case this place was very deplorable. On the other side of the spectrum I looked above the main entrance of the homestead and found a horseshoe nailed to the wood. The horseshoe was a bit rusty sure but it was our luck to have found such a place. The paranormal in my years of work has been good to me maybe not so much the people who are not so openminded as I but the spirits I can always count on. They guide the way just as so will I when it comes to the paranormal world we live in. Our journey then would leave us no choice but to traverse deeper into Hidden Valley near Moapa. We would come to pass old railroad tracks.....even parked trains.....and eventually a bathroom break that landed us at the Moapa Post Office.
