P. Leu Gardens
I was amazed with the size of this place it actually
was very eerie as it has over 50 acres of gardens, woods, ponds, a lake,
and even a historical mansion. The wrought iron engulfed the property so
it gave it that foreboding feeling like what stays in stays in and what
stays out stays out.
We started off hiking down a road it was well wooded things were quiet but
I knew we were not alone. This place almost had a mystical feeling with
many plants that were growing around various trees till we came out into a
Rose Garden.
The Rose Garden had hundreds of pink rose and a few gazebos. It was quiet
but we were out in the open or almost center of the Leu Garden estate.
We noticed a few lit lights shimmering through the trees and a few
structures that were lit. We followed some of them to a dark road which
led to the Leu's Mansion. It was very large and eerie. The only lit lights
were those of some gold Christmas lights blinking on the front porch.
There was a strong presence inside and outside of the porch. Based on my
theory I think its the entire Leu family. They seemed to show more around
the back porch area and front as if they greeting us to come on. We took
our time sat on a bench I watched the mansion for awhile.
Lots of energies present here and I am sure inside would be similar.
Eventually we headed on off to a dock it had these little lights lining
the rails as we could see from far away. There was an alligators sign that
talked about the lake.
We took a little trail which passed by some shed and a fence which on the
other side there was this house on a hill. I believe it was the museum for
the gardens but I am not sure it was very new age looked more like some
art museum.
We took various trails one of them I heard a fountain and there were
various signs with plaques. Some areas were real dark and you could feel
that something was out there just real strong feelings of being carefully
watched.
We eventually came on out to a wedding chapel and some other small cottage
in the woods. We also found a vegetable garden with various things growing
in it like radishes, cabbage, etc around that time we were also in
search of the very private Mizell Cemetery which very few know about.
We did find a map of the Leu property and found many other points of
interest one of them was the butterfly garden, white rose garden, tropical
gardens etc we found this one set of tables with various types of fauna
growing on them like one table had just cactuses.
The place was really beautiful almost safe from impurities as little
creeks flowed through it, lush gardens grew all over, and benches lined
the trails. The one problem we faced is that the sprinklers decided to go
off during the last parts of our investigation and we got terribly soaked.
Jason was trying to move the sprinkler heads away from us and instead
turned it right onto me. Oh I got squirted in the face and my clothes were
just drenched by water. After we got past all the sprinklers we found a
giant clock in the garden. This area was very heavy in energy I do not
know why but the giant hands moved on the clock as flowers grew all
around it was a very interesting site.
We took another road which led us back out and it turned out to be a real
interesting place to investigate. I do think that members of the Mizzel
family and Leu family haunt these grounds. More in a manner of speaking
they probably are here because this place is real peaceful.
I do believe there is much more that remains to be seen here. I noticed a
lot of little structures throughout our hikes all over and various
gardens. We did not find the supposed maze that is somewhere here but we
still had fun taking various trails to various sites here.
This probably is one of the top historical sites in all of Orlando so it
was a real treat to visit it. It had a peaceful feeling but it was eerie
you could feel a lot of older ghost here just watching us. The paths
twisted and turned some were well over grown so it just had this feeling
that anything could be around the next corner. There were about four
different areas with intense cold spots while at one other time I heard a
bang like a screen door near the Leu House as if something was on the
porch so pretty interesting place.
We took some photos of the front gates it was really late I was soak and
wet. I had to take off my shirt drive home topless cause it was real
chilly just trying to drive with a wet shirt on and car seat.
