Tonight's investigation turned out to be beautiful it worked out on all ends as we had a nice group of 8 all together. We spent a lot of time investigating tonight to bring you some very nice apparition photos as well as a very good hauntingly story as we ventured into the Genesee Asylum & Potter Grounds as well as The Strange Genesee Park afterwards. We left in the evening and I have to admit it was rough I have the flu right now and it took a lot of meditating to keep myself from collapsing tonight but we made it okay and our adventure begins here:

The Genesee Asylum & Potter Grounds

We were so lucky to have the opportunity to investigate this place tonight as this is all I thought about for 2 weeks. We arrived here the area itself was quite eerie as the roads have little lighting but we found the place at ease. Approaching the dark lot was interesting as you could feel such strong energy around the entire area feelings of being watched getting out of the van started right away unlike most investigations where it takes time for that overwhelming sensation. We spent time introducing ourselves with the owner who discussed a little bit about the history of the area, grounds, buildings on site Ect then before hand I ran out alone to the van to get some paperwork and honestly I was very uncomfortable I felt watched from the windows, from the garages, as if something was near the van. I walked back inside lost the paperwork so either the flu is playing tricks or one of them mischievous spirits.  Also Santa was watching me but that is another story of its own.

After hearing a little bit about the place we were let upstairs I believe it was the 3rd floor she unlocked the lock and then after that it was ghost capturing time. We walked a little bit together to get the feel of the place we entered a room where once a pentagram was in, cults would do spells in and there was a very old organ in the room. The room was cold like ice there was something in here one of the closets had a secret little room small enough to crawl into. We explored a few rooms but I wanted to come back later when the activity would pick up more. So before I left I captured an entity hiding up in a crawlspace coming towards me then we went down to the catacombs while one group explored upstairs. 

We worked our way down to various areas such as the morgue, slaughter house, body storage area, a kitchen for the workers, nurses and staff chambers. Eventually going down into the basement and catacombs area.  Surprisingly this was not that haunted the cold storage for the deceased was no longer in service but still ice cold. The tunnel leading underground something went past me quickly and I felt it then Mark did also it was very ice cold around us. We worked our way up to some garages some areas were cold and I felt watched and this is where we captured some nice apparitions. It was a pretty big bricked in area looked more like a workshop and there was moving cold spots you could see the entities in the flash very easily. We then went back out through the catacombs and tried opening a few more unlocked doors some were storage closets, little rooms a few twist and turns down here and its quite easy to get turned around.

We worked our way into Santa's workshop an area where there is a sleigh, little village, trees, presents, model train Ect and when I opened the dark room I seen something in here move it was dark it was fast but it was something. This room was very warm probably 65 degrees and Mark caught a face near a teddy bear we put there for the children. We also caught mild Ecto so this area had a ghost to and you could feel a presence in here. Perhaps when you read the history of this place you will understand about why it is so haunted. 

We ended up leaving and visiting the recreation and cafeteria area. Was it cold yes in certain areas perhaps the entities still enjoy some recreation in the afterlife. We were showed where they watched movies, played poker Ect Ect. Then after a little walk I found a stairwell it was cold only in one area of it and we went up to the second floor near a craft room area and found the patient rooms with some names still left by the doors. This probably was the most active area there are ghost in the patient rooms as I went in a few to prove this fact. Some rooms were much colder then others as I went in some alone and relaxed just to embrace the different feelings per room. There was some rooms with furniture stored here one room was even a saloon for haircuts. We eventually ended up on the roof from there and it was so terribly cold up here then a room across in the other building and the steeple I noticed had a door on it so I was like lets go over there.

We worked our way back which led us back to the room with the organ. This time it was more active apparitions around the organ Ect so finally I caught something here. This is the room where witchcraft, cults, pentagrams, candles have been found in why they only do things in this room beats me but we got some nice photos here. Then I went down to an area where a psychics said a witch was murdered and I heard some screams besides the other group approaching and meeting us at the steeple. We climbed the steeple it was intense as we all sat on a tiny little platform on the roof at the top of the asylum. Mark opened the steeples door and many pigeons up there. One of them missed my head by a few inches as it flew out. We all climbed back out after getting a few shots up high. 

We all were regrouped and decided to close off this investigation with a little outdoor photography. We were not able to investigate the outside very much because the guard dog did not like our presence here and was growling. But we were able to take a few Ectoplasmic photos near the entrance then drive to the back of the asylum to the potter fields.

The potter fields were so cold it was almost to brutal to withstand. Every photo i took had ectoplasm including a man hiding in the brush watching us. I honestly thing that there may be more ghost behind the asylum then in this place. The energy is almost strong enough to lose feeling in your hands. But we walked up the road and even entered some woods took a few apparitions to show you again that the fields are haunted as well. We came across a mutilated deer and another set up of bones 50 feet away from that so do people drive down this road fast? Very much show perhaps this road scares them. We then finished off the area and headed to Genesee Park which is on the edge of Potter Fields but really a separate area. 

We learned basically from investigating that almost every room here had a entity, cold spots move around, each room had a different feeling and is this place haunted? It is my belief that many ghost haunt this place men, women, children and perhaps it is the history of this place that makes it much more easier to understand why this place has so much energy or perhaps there is a bigger secret in the past we may never know. Anyhow Genesee Park was our next destination.
