150 years agoWants a woman’s care. A gentleman came into our office yesterday and said he had a little child that he was anxious to leave in the care of some respectable family. He is about crossing the Plains, and has two other older children to take care of. He has been so unfortunate as to lose his wife, and says this little one needs the care of a woman.
