Congratulations to new Marines from Carson City


























The proud Marines of Carson City’s Marine Corps League Detachment 630, who have served in all military conflicts since World War II, assembled at the Carson City Salvation Army to honor two former Carson High School NJROTC students. Josiah Cyr and Nery Peña completed their basic boot camp training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot Camp Pendleton in San Diego. Marine Commandant Gary Armstrong of the Carson City Marine Corps League had no problem in inspiring the Marine Corps League Detachment 630 to celebrate with these young Marines for their commitment to serving our country.
