The Foundation for Carson City Parks & Recreation, in conjunction with the Carson City Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Department, wish to recognize individuals and groups who contribute to the vitality of the community and Carson City’s recreational environment. The foundation is accepting nominations of individuals, organizations, and businesses to be recognized in 2016 for their contributions to the community with emphasis on efforts to support Carson City’s parks, recreation, and open spaces.The selected names will be added to the Memorial Wall at the entrance to the Marv Teixeira Pavilion at Mills Park, followed by an awards ceremony there at  …
