Two people in Arkansas claim they saw an unidentified animal walking on two legs.

One of the eyewitnesses, whose name wasn’t provided by the BFRO, said he and his son were fishing at a creek in northern Arkansas, when the sighting allegedly took place in August 2017.

“At first seemed to be a beaver about 50-75 yards away from us upstream where the water is deeper,” he said. “But something seemed unusual about its shape. It started swimming back to the opposite bank and just stopped for about a second, then it rose out of the water. Now I know what I was looking at was massive because the water in that part of the creek is chest deep and I vividly recall seeing the daylight between its legs.”

The man describes the animal as a red-haired primate with massive arms.

“The arms just hung to its side almost touching the water,” he recalls.

After about 3 seconds, according to the man, the unknown animal ran back to the area it had originally come from and causing a racket.

“Now I know what I was looking at was massive because the water in that part of the creek is chest deep and I vividly recall seeing the daylight between its legs.”

The eyewitness says he and his son ran back to their truck and haven’t been back to that spot ever since the reported encounter.

The area where the sighting purportedly took place is part of the Ozarks and known for its rugged terrain.
