The Carson City Board of Supervisors on Thursday directed city parks officials to apply for a grant to build a toilet at the Rifle and Pistol Range.Parks Director Vern Krahn told the board three quarters of the $60,000 needed for the project would come from the Nevada Department of Wildlife.“The department feels that we need to provide that basic amenity for people,” Krahn said.Supervisor Brad Bonkowski asked what can be done to protect the toilet.“If you have used the rifle range, it gets abused,” he said. “What can be done to prevent people from shooting up the toilet.”Krahn said the  …
