Ruth and Harold Holbrook of Carson City celebrate 50th anniversary


























A 50th wedding anniversary celebration was given for Carson City’s Harold and Ruth Holbrook on Jan. 9 at Fuji Park Pavilion. The event was a surprise to both Harold and Ruth, and they enjoyed the evening with food, friends and family.The Holbrooks, who married Jan. 7, 1966, in Carson City, are thankful for the cards and gifts they received from friends and family. They would like to thank Benny Fillmore for his traditional blessing before the dinner. Fillmore, with the help of his wife, Laura, and son, Hunter, also sang a traditional round dance song, and young and old participated  …
