Nevada’s State Archivist will be honored in May by the Conference of Intermountain Archivists.Jeff Kintop will receive the organization’s lifetime achievement award at the annual conference May 11 in Ogden, Utah.The award recognizes career of service and leadership and advanced scholarship in the archival profession.Kintop is only the second full time archivist Nevada has had since the office was moved from the Secretary of State’s office to Library and Archives. His predecessor, Guy Rocha, was also presented the organization’s lifetime achievement award.
