COLVER, Pennsylvania — A man in Cambria County says he saw a creature he believes to be Bigfoot.

The 59-year-old retired man, who provided a full name but opted to remain anonymous, told Cryptozoology News last week that he was with his truck parking near the woods in 2014 when the animal showed up.

“I was going hunting. I parked the truck and saw this thing came out of the woods,” he said.

The Colver resident claims the bipedal creature then walked down the road as it turned its head back to look at him.

“It looked at me. It scared me so bad. I was shaking.”

The man describes the animal as a “black” 8-foot-tall  primate. He estimates its weight at about 500 lbs.

The sighting, he said, lasted a few minutes. The eyewitness did not present photographic evidence of the alleged encounter.

Colver is an unincorporated community with a population of 1,000.

Just a month ago, two women claimed to have seen a Bigfoot creature in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania.
