CCSO reports 2 fatal crashes


























The Nevada Highway Patrol continues to investigate two fatal crashes that occurred late last week.On Thursday night on Interstate 80 east of Fernley near the Nightingale exit, an 18-wheeler hit a pedestrian and killed him. The crash occurred about 11:30 p.m. The Churchill County Sheriff’s Office responded to the vicinity of mile marker 65 following a report of a body found near the fog line on the west bound lanes. The CCSO said the remains were of a man whose identity was confirmed through fingerprints; however, the CCSO said the man’s name cannot be released at this time due to  …
