Two Carson High School student athletes will benefit from an annual golf tournament that’s returning to Silver Oak Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 10. The 15th annual Kerri Oxoby Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. The event is organized by the Oxoby family in memory of Kerri Oxoby, a Carson High and University of Nevada, Reno, graduate who died in 2001 from anaphylactic shock following a toxic reaction from hazelnut extract in candy.
