Nevada Health Centers receives grant to support Mammovan
The Nevada Heath Centers has received a $15,000 grant to continue to support the Mammovan, a service that allows better access to mammography services for women in Nevada.The grant from CVS Health is for non-profit organizations who provide access to health care for at-risk or underserved populations. The NVHC is using the grant for the mobile center, which travels to geographically isolated areas or for women who don’t have health insurance, and provides free mammograms to those who either don’t have insurance or can’t afford it.“We are thrilled to receive this community grant.
