Fatalities due to impaired driving and riding continue to be a top traffic issue on Nevada’s roadways and with overall fatalities at an increase in comparison to this time last year. The Nevada Highway Patrol is working in conjunction with the Washoe County Sheriff’s Department, Reno Police Department, Sparks Police Department, Carson City Sheriff’s Department, Lyon County Sheriff’s Department and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Department who are all aligned with Joining Forces to boost enforcement efforts.
