The fight against 'woke' is conservative gaslighting
Republicans "are masterminds at coming up with messaging that scares the Jim Crow hell out of their base. "Woke" is their latest stunt," writes Clay Cane. He says to anyone who misuses, the word which has deep cultural meaning for the Black community: "What you refer to as "woke-ism" is old school, political gaslighting."
