Carson City resident and Nevada Appeal contributor Ken Beaton celebrated his 75th birthday Thursday night with a re-launching of his book ‘The Bulldog Brigade, Everyday Red and Gray’ at the Brewery Arts Center. Beaton celebrated with family and friends including Showgirl Codi. Beaton’s book is a memoir of his early years growing up in Massachusetts, and then later as a Nevada educator and freelance writer.
