A new scam is circulating through Carson City, tricking people to donate to a fake charity for police officers.The scam claims Carson Proud created a community refrigerator mailer for people to take out an ad to support local law enforcement. The advertisement said “In a time of negativity we are making a stand to support our local police officers for all the hard and dedicated work they to do keep our community safe!
