Planning ahead for mall expansion in Carson City
































A Carson City landmark of sorts is coming down in the ongoing makeover of the Carson Mall. The Copeland Lumber warehouse on Stewart Street and the vacant two-story office building just south of it are set to be demolished next month. The buildings are owned by Carson Mall owner The Carrington Company, which bought the lumber building last year with the intention of redeveloping the site. “We know we’re not going to utilize the existing footprints so we’re going to bring them down. We’re seeing that whole north end as something really exciting to do and we’re exploring various options,”  …
