Carson City will be holding an international film festival this weekend featuring over a dozen films.The film festival runs Feb. 18-20. Starting Thursday films will play from 2 to 5 p.m. at Marlette Hall at Western Nevada College, featuring local, national and international filmmakers. Each night, the Carson City Community Center will host an international film, starting at 7 p.m. Film topics range from an 18th century Denmark drama to documentaries on harmonicas.Thursday’s films, themed “stories of loss,” are by local filmmakers. “The Game;” “Blue-Eyed Boy;” and “Our Father” will be shown from 2 to 5 p.m. in Marlette Hall. …
