Niki Gladys has been named executive director of the Western Nevada College Foundation.Gladys was on the foundation’s board for seven years — most recently as board president — before interviewing for the director’s position.She resigned her position with KNPB, Northern Nevada’s PBS station, to take the job.“It’s something I have a lot of passion around,” she said. “It’s a nice organization with a talented board.”She said she parted ways with KNPB on good terms.“This was just an opportunity I couldn’t turn down,” she said. “I love how WNC is so intertwined with our community and I love being part of  …
