The Nevada Highway Patrol continues to investigate two fatal crashes that occurred late last week.On Thursday night on Interstate 80 east of Fernley near the Nightingale exit, an 18-wheeler hit a pedestrian and killed him. The crash occurred about 11:30 p.m. The Churchill County Sheriff’s Office responded to the vicinity of mile marker 65 following a report of a body found near the fog line on the west bound lanes.
