City National recently provided Friends In Service Helping (FISH) with a $6,000 donation for a low-income housing project in Carson City. The donation will help pay to furnish the 39-unit housing project with beds and other household items, and will help FISH sustain their existing emergency and transitional housing projects.FISH is partnering with Nevada Rural Housing on the Richard’s Crossing project that’s scheduled to open in May of next year. The project will have eight apartments designated for chronic homeless veterans. Homeless veterans will receive priority for the remaining 31 units.
