**NEW** Additions On Our Site "Santa Cruz Memorial Park Cemetery" Home To The Lady In White.....
Let me take the time to announce another great addition on our website Santa Cruz Memorial Park Cemetery. I absolutely adore this location its full of ghost stories but its also very old and contains many historical figures in correlation with the Santa Cruz area. Its not a huge place but it does contain gardens, nature and many beautifully carved gravestones thanks to the Oddfellows a fraternal group who felt that no matter if your rich or poor everyone deserved a proper burial.
This is not a huge addition but if you enjoyed Evergreen Cemetery you will also enjoy this place on our site. It takes me a long time to put out these additions on our site. I do more adventures then I do getting stuff up but when I do put cases and locations up it is because I have done thorough research and completed my investigation of such a said site.
This is a beautiful place full of flowers, birds, squirrels, deer etc as a matter in fact none of the graves were vandalized everything here is so well kept I am quite amazed really considering it was erected in 1862. Its a park like setting right on the famous San Lorenzo. The next addition ill put out is from the Holy Cross Church and Mission. Its a very old site from the 1700's with a cemetery and a few other cool historic sites. The cemetery here is just below it so they are fairly close to one another. I cant wait to get the mission out on our site because really this is how Santa Cruz begin was with a Catholic Mission to convert the Natives to Catholicism. It was a very dark time because they were often mistreated.
Santa Cruz has so much tragedy I learned plenty doing research and paranormal investigations up in this area. In fact quite a few folks buried in the memorial park are murder victims from serial killers that lived in the area back in the 70's while others are from a diphtheria plague and a powder mill explosion. So this truly is a fascinating place and we honor it by preserving it through our site. Peace,
