Live broadcast of Handel’s ‘Messiah’ plannedAs a celebration of the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ this Easter, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will host a free live broadcast of Handel’s Messiah performed by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square at 6 p.m. Friday, March 25 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Carson City chapel, 411 N. Saliman Drive. Nonperishable food donations will be collected to benefit the Friends in Service Helping food pantry.
